SketchBound-V2.4 — Skies!
✨ New Features
- Shader Skies — Added a custom shader driven skybox.
- Sky Kuwahara — Added a kuwahara filter thats applied directly to the skybox.
- Shader Clouds — (Iris only) Added shader based volumetric clouds, inspired by the clouds in Escheridia by jrwilliamson
- Whiteout Sky — Added a "Whiteout Sky" setting that replaces the sky with a blank canvas. Useful for screenshots.
- Outline Pencil Mode — Saw a user doing that so thought I'd add it as a dedicated mode.
- Lava "fog" — Added a screen space overlay that shows up when you're in lava or powdered snow.
- Star settings — Added some star settings.
🔧 Improvements
- Rain Transparency — Rain opacity decreased to 50%.
- Rain Fog — Fog now increases just slightly in rain.
- Bloom Performance — Improved performance of soft bloom.
- Hatching Performance — Hatching angles are now pre-baked for better performance.
- Sky Settings — Moved sky settings into the Atmosphere & Water tab.
- Cleanup — Removed some unused textures.
⚠️ Known Issues
- Stars do not render in Painterly mode.
- Skybox Texture Outlines (sun/moon/stars) fail to render through ice and stained glass.
SketchBound-V2.3 — Eyes!
✨ New Features
- Nothing, sorry 😢 — Just wanted to do a quick bugfix so ya'll get the least broken version!
🔧 Improvements
- Eye rendering — Fixed glowing eyes randomly clipping into entity textures.
- Eye brightness — Fixed enderman eyes being too bright in daylight.

SketchBound-V2.2 — Settings!
✨ New Features
- Fog Setting — From popular demand, added setting to turn off border fog and water based fog. This MARGINALLY improves Voxy support (still needs work).
🔧 Improvements
- Complete settings UI overhaul — ITS ORGANIZED
- Reduced file size — I accidentally left an ENTIRE development version in the last upload.... That's fixed!
- Godray Tint improvement — Godray tint now only impacts color modes, and has had a significantly increased default.
- Dual-Godrays improvement — Godrays are MUCH smoother & more consistent at sunrise and sunset (not perfect).

SketchboundBound-V2.1 — Painterly Mode!
This is a major update which mainly adds a Painterly color style! If you would like this to be the default, check out PaintBound! We are skipping to V2.1 to stay consistent with PaintBound versioning.
✨ New Features
- Painterly Mode — A new Drawing Style that uses a Kuwahara filter to give the world an painted look!
- Volumetric Godrays — Crepuscular rays radiating from the sun and moon.
- Purkinje Effect — At night, colours desaturate and shift toward blue-green, simulating how human vision works in low light.
- Dynamic Handheld Light Sources — Handheld light-emitting blocks (torches, lanterns, etc.) now illuminate surroundings.
- Color Temperature — New slider in Color Grading to shift white balance toward warm or cool tones.
- Lut Creator! — Added an included script to make custom luts!
🔧 Improvements
- Color Palettes now use LUTs by default — Dramatically faster than the old brute-force lookup. The old Custom 1×N mode is still available for testing palettes from sites like lospec.com, and a new Custom LUT option lets you supply your own pre-baked LUT.
- White Vignette now has three separate controls (Strength, Radius, Softness) grouped in a dedicated sub-screen.
- Cave Darkness — A new slider to control how dark underground areas are. Also fixes the root cause: previously the shader used the wrong sky-light value, making caves nearly as bright as the surface.
- Shadow transition fix — Fixed a visual shadow artifact that appeared briefly at sunrise and sunset.
- Reduced file size — Removed unused luts and palette png's.
