NexAuth is getting close to its first production release. This beta is focused on validating the final Paper/Purpur and Velocity path before that stable milestone.

Compatibility

• Added current compatibility coverage for Minecraft 1.21.11 and Paper 26.1.2.
• Preserved the Velocity plus Paper smoke-test environment for release validation.
• Removed BungeeCord and Waterfall from the shipped platform surface.

Runtime Fixes

• Relocated net.kyori.option with Configurate to avoid Paper classloader conflicts.
• Updated PacketEvents handling for newer Paper login and configuration packets.
• Added Paper encryption reflection support for the newer net.minecraft.util.Crypt#getCipher runtime path.

Authentication Hardening

• Made premium session verification fail closed when Mojang session-server checks are unavailable.
• Made premium username normalization locale-safe.
• Required an authorized, registered session before changing premium-login settings from player commands.

Upgrade Notes

• This is still a beta release. Test before production use and keep backups.
• Supported deployment targets are Paper/Purpur and Velocity.
• BungeeCord and Waterfall are no longer maintained by NexAuth.

📦 Installation

1. Download NexAuth.jar from the assets below
2. Place it in your proxy/server plugins folder
3. Install NexLimbo for the complete authentication experience
4. Restart your server
5. Configure in plugins/NexAuth/config.yml

• NexLimbo Required: For the full authentication limbo experience, install NexLimbo on your proxy.
