The Classic 3D resource pack serves for more eye candy and by pressing "r", you can activate item swapper.
Without shaders, you can see very far, including fancy clouds. Also have a map & minimap with Journeymap.
Enchantments give a faint glow over your armor icons above your health bar. Also, you can see your durabilities on the left of your screen.
