  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.11.1

    release7 апреля 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • The PokéFinder has been reworked
    • The Pokenav's UI has been drastically improved
    • Fix crash when scrolling through items in a Lunch Basket or Quiver
    • Fix Chimechite Mega Stone ID including a typo
      • Existing Chimechite will likely disappear. Rather specific, but let me know.
    • Fix EMI favorites counts to ignore items inside Sophisticated Storage without a Crafting Upgrade

Cannons shoot backwards now, though, so, uhm...

    • A fix to the way skylight is computed is now used in the modpack
      • To make it brief, the skylight has been noticeably darker than intended. Yes, this is also a problem in vanilla Minecraft 1.21.1.
      • See Restored Brightness for more information
    • Urban Decor items and blocks are no longer marked as experimental
    • Encased Fans can now blow through a few more blocks from Urban Decor
    • Change the inventory sound of a few things, such as Mega Stones.
    • Re-enable Supplementaries's Slidy Block.
      • Way back then, this block used to crash the modpack on use, but it actualy seems innocuous now.
    • You can now drink fluid, such as milk, directly from Supplementaries's Jar in your inventory, if possible
    • Lowered the time it takes to fully charge a Slingshot
    • Allow placeable Pokemon policies and tags to be assembled on Create contraptions
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.11.0

    release28 марта 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

    • AtlasViewer
      • Only really for development purposes. Does not normally come with the modpack.

Add Renuvium fluid. This ever-so slightly changing sludge has a tendency to turn into its surroundings. Most notably, when poured above Asurine, Crimsite, Ochrum, or Veridium, it turns into an exact copy of it.

    Renuvium duplicating Veridium and Ochrum

It can be made by mixing all sorts of colorful stones in a Basin and turning up the heat to the max.

    Recipe for Renuvium

Add Simulate Mouse Wheel Up/Down keybinds, which by default are assigned to Page Up and Page Down, respectively. These keybinds allow you to scroll through pages in the recipe viewer without the mouse wheel, for example. Create's Schematics controls are accounted for, as well. They don't work for absolutely everything, but it is better than nothing

    • Fertilizer in contact with Lava produces Veridium
    • Increase nugget output from washing White/Orange Sand
    • Potion effects displayed in the inventory have been moved to the right
      • This prevents the effects from overlapping with the Curios slots. They may now cover the recipe viewer on a small screen, but it is better than being unable to interact with your equipment.
    • Document:
      • Dyeing Decorated Pots
      • How to obtain Bleachdew
      • How to obtain Raked Sand (I know, specific)
      • Tulips of various colors can be found in Coconico Meadows
    • Hide Yo Hooks and Gadgets Against Grind's Creative Tabs
      • Their items have been moved to other existing tabs
    • Fix "double" Copper Nugget recipe
    • Fix too few nuggets from washing Crushed Copper Ore
    • Fix Pokemon Costume & other packs not being in the modpack anymore? Like, what?
    • Fix Cobblemon Raid Dens Creative Tab being visible and with only one item
    • Fix Critters 'n' Crawlers mobs not being excluded from Pale Bog like mentioned last time
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.10.1

    release22 марта 2026 г.

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Add occasional toast notifications for Sophisticated Item Actions
    • The "Display item" of a Backpack is now also visible when rendered in the inventory
    • Fix Shutters not being mineable with axes

    Modpack:

    • Major sorting through some biomes/structures for compatibility, including:
      • Allow Arts 'n' Craft's rock formations to generate in more biomes
      • Do not let Critters 'n' Crawlers mobs spawn in the Pale Bog
      • Newly generated Road Signs can now also point to Ribbit villages & other inhabited places
    • Many, many blocks can now be assembled on Create Contraptions without destroying themselves or disappearing
      • This includes a majority of placeable food, buntings, candle holders, timber frames
      • Prevent assembling Handcrafted's benches and couches on contraptions due to duplication exploit
    • Allow the Wrench to pick up most of Supplementaries's technical blocks
      • As a reminder, the Wrench is capable of quickly snatching a lot of technical blocks by right-clicking on them
    • Allow Encased Fan to blow through buntings & Wind Vane (I know, specific)
    • "Dog Food" has been renamed to "Pet Food" and now works on Pokemon, as well
    • Reduce how many "doohickeys" generate in loot containers considerably

    Recipe Viewer:

    • Dusts, nuggets, ingots, and raw materials are no longer grouped in the recipe viewer
    • Add way more recipe defaults
      • As a reminder, these make the recipes easier to navigate so they're rather welcome

    Aestetics:

    • Add way more inventory sounds:
      • This includes the Blaze Burner, Coal, coins, crushed ores, Sandpaper, Super Glue, lots of food items, etc.
    • Tweak existing inventory sounds:
      • From slightly lowering the volume of Cobblemon's herbs, to changing the sound of Create's schematics
      • Finally changed the sound of Snowballs and Minecarts to something more reasonable
    • More inventory particles, too. Yahoo.

    Snorefest:

    • Give slowdown penalty when carrying Loot Minecarts & Item Frames
    • Do not include Copper Horse Armor in Completionist's Index, as it cannot be normally obtained and I'm too lazy to include it in loot (and document it separately, too)
    • Tweaks to Dream Dimension. More instructions in the Dream Journal, clock ticking in the background, hint to remain until the end
    • Fix EMI being in dev mode
    • Fix many, many blocks missing their footstep sounds
    • Fix Blank TM/TR accidentally having no associated inventory sound
    • Fix erroneous time displayed when the Dream Dimension's expiration time is greater than 1 hour
    • Fix being able to go through Nether/End portals in the Dream Dimension
    • Remove erroneous code to not let Baby Zombies spawn, which did not really work anyway
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.10.0

    release13 марта 2026 г.

Just to be sure, read and follow... the following: Image

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Sleeping now restores and invigorates you, but it comes with a catch. Bed Bugs and nightmares are something to be wary of.
      • Sleeping with a partner boosts you even more!
      • The existing Hammocks and Sleeping Bags are deprecated in favour of Sleep Tight's. Conversion recipes have been added. Please replace your items and blocks accordingly before they're gone for good!
    • Major Cobblemon Raid Dens updates:
    • Added the Bilokosa??
      • Hint: Look for jungles.
    • Adjust windup time for axes and the Mace
    • Tweak physics, durability, and length of grappling hooks somewhat
      • The values used by Yo Hooks were changed to remain roughly the same as before this update.
      • Reduced length of Iron and Gold hooks slightly.
      • It was possible to repair the Netherite Grappling Hook with Diamond or Netherite Scrap before, but now it's done in a less janky and potentially more documented way.
    • Fix being unable to attack after dying during the windup phase of an attack
    • Fix raid dens consuming items when it's not supposed to
    • Fix raid dens sometimes creating new raid instances when an existing one is still ongoing

    Modpack stuff:

    • Holding a block in the offhand now also automatically replaces multiple destroyed blocks at once
      • Replacing multiple blocks at once with hammer and block in off hand
      • It looks slightly different than the GIF but it checks out. Works with the Trowel too, by the way.
    • Holding Honeycomb highlights waxed/unwaxed blocks nearby
    • Raid Crystals are much less common in the Dream Dimension
    • Allow many more carpet-like blocks to be placed on stairs (yes this has been a thing)
    • You can move again while in the Enchantment screen
    • You can no longer move while in the TM Machine, Present, and Doormat screen to prevent minor annoyances

    Loot tweaks:

    • Add new "doohickey" bonus loot table full of entirely miscellaneous content from the modpack.
      • Doohickeys can be found in chests, sometimes replacing existing loot, sometimes adding to it
      • Doohickeys can also be found by fishing junk
      • Luck increases your chance to find doohickeys
    • Bonus furniture loot is now much, much rarer.
    • Add many more items to the furniture loot table.
      • This includes Bits 'n' Bobs Chairs, some urban decor, windows, shutters, shelves, tatami mats, etc.

    Recipes:

    • Allow way signs to be crafted by cutting signs with a Mechanical Saw
      • Due to a bug this happens to be the only way to craft most of them, actually
    • Calendars from Urban Decor now require a Clock in the middle
      • Fixes a conflict with Chiseled Bookshelves.
    • Wraiths from Snowy Spirit now require Ginger Glowers
      • Fixes a conflict with Biomes We've Gone's Wraiths.
    • Reduce price of Handcrafted's Terracotta Thin Pot
      • Fixes a conflict with Arts & Craft's Terracotta Shingles.
    • Liko's Pendant's recipe now requires any rope instead of String

    Recipe viewer:

    • Separate Trial Chamber Loot into its own category
    • Change icon for Chest Loot and Block Drops category
    • Manually and painstakingly document how to obtain few items, including:
      • Every single Relic
      • Enderman and Spider heads from Creeper explosions
      • Straw and some pastry slices from cutting with knives
      • Ham, Hoglin Hide, Ghasta, Strider Slices, Strider Eggs from killing with knives
      • Moomoo Milk from Milktanks
    • Many, many, MANY redudant loot tables have hidden from the recipe viewer. This includes, but is not limited to:
      • A grand majority of blocks that only drop themselves with very simple conditions
      • Potted plants
        • Nothing quite like looking up where to get Pots and being flooded with 15 pages of block drops.
      • Slab, Stairs, Walls shapes
      • "Injection" loot tables (unless the injected items cannot be seen otherwise)
    • Improve how some mobs are visualized in the Mob Loot category
    • Improve how many loot tables are titled in the Chest Loot category
    • Potion Fluids and a few effects are now grouped together in the recipe viewer
    • Add way, way more recipe defaults
    • Add aliases for carpets, towels, metal sheets
    • Add localization strings for a few niche item tags and raid loot tables
    • Add way, way more unique representations of tags, such as for Cheers and Tera Shards

    Aesthetic:

    • Update how Statues and Pedestals hold a few tools
    • Add inventory particles for honey, dust, slime, oil, pots, Time Pouch, Flute, etc.
    • Tweak Creative Tabs slightly
      • Remove and merge Bits 'n' Bobs's tabs into Create's own tabs
      • Make Display Delight's tab appear closer to Farmer's Delight
    • Rename Mega Showdown's Pedestal to Small Pedestal

    Snorefest:

    • Fix Ruler not working on right-click sometimes
    • Fix Mod Sets button overlapping Server Links button
    • Fix missing combination/inside_step_sound_blocks tag for many carpet-like blocks
      • Lets them to play their sounds when stepped on, often alongside the block underneath
    • Fix Way Signs placed on walls not being usable as road points for Via Romana's maps
    • Fix Noteblock tuning and grabbing logic
    • Fix "Pale Jacaranda" and "Redderwood" rename not applying to way signs, cannonboats, and sleds
    • Fix empty Glass Bottles sounding like they're filled
    • Fix Wall Clock not being craftable
    • Fix Diamond Spear not being grindable
    • Fix recipe conflict between Minecraft's Bookshelf and its non-vanilla variations
    • Fix recipe conflict between Fried Eggs and Boiled Eggs
    • Notable clean-up behind the scenes
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.9.3

    release4 марта 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Add particles and sounds when a Pokemon hatches out of a Pokemon Egg
    • Sinister Tea no longer affects Food Diversity
    • Milk Bottles, Milk Cups, Hot Cocoa, Builder's Tea, Soap, and Bleachdew can now be used as tea seasoning for Campfire Pot recipes
    • Apple Jelly, Sweet Berry Jam, Glow Berry Marmalade, Soap, and Bleachdew can now be used as nutrition seasoning for Campfire Pot recipes
      • Gourmet stuff, truly. You can put these in a Ponigiri now.
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.9.2

    release1 марта 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

    Removed the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • The illusion of stuff to do:
      • Progress bar for collecting Mega Showdown items
    • Updated many, many mods which were meant to be, but for some reason only I had them up-to-date.
    • Increase default catenary length from 16 to 32
    • Updated graphics for the radial menus
    • More, subtle inventory animations for mundane actions
    • Added bundle-like functionality for the Lunchbox containers. Items can be inserted or extracted from within the inventory
    • Added a small glass tunnel for the ability to explore the Water-type raid den
    • Added café outfits for Inteleon, Zebstrika, Scolipede, Rayquaza, Snivy, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Kirlia
    • Fixed female Eevee's costume not applying

    The Dream Dimension

Added a whole new Dream Dimension, or "Dream World", whatever. This is essentially a more grounded and game-feeling way of a temporary "resource world", in where any item you find is yours to keep. It doesn't feature anything too special, unless you let it expire. In order to access the Dream Dimension, you must sleep after consuming any fermented drink and getting Tipsy. If you lag a bit and can't get out of bed, that's your clue. You'll begin safely descending into an alternative version of the Overworld. There are a few catches.

    • To come back home, use a Bed or Raid Den Crystal. In fact, neither are usable here.
    • If you die here, you don't. You still would rather not die, though. It's quite the burden.
    • Don't expect anything you place down in here to remain forever. They will be lost eventually.

The moment you enter, the Dream Dimension will begin to expire. By default, it lasts 1 real-time hour or so, but this can be changed with the dream_duration gamerule. The dimension will keep expiring even when no one is inside. You may or may not want to be there when that happens.

Note: Based on a few performance euristics, the Dream Dimension "prepares" itself periodically even when no one is inside, in order to avoid generating chunks on the spot.

    General modpack stuff

    • You can now carry Noteblocks. Doing so keeps their assigned note
      • Speaking of which, you can now tune down Noteblocks by sneaking and right-clicking on them
    • You can now feed fire-like items from Cobblemon and My Nether's Delight to Blaze Burners because I said so
      • That includes Fire TM/TRs
    • Many prepared foods have had their Diversity value changed
      • This includes regional delicacies, candies,
      • This is to further encourage a loosely varied diet, even if I will likely explore alternatives to this system in the far future
    • The lowered chance to spawn Endermen has been removed (because I have no idea why there's so few of them)
    • Lower the sound volume of Critters 'n' Crawlers considerably
    • Deers and Giant Boars no longer spawn naturally in flat worlds
    • Change the inventory sound of Graffiti
    • Double the capacity of the Temporal Pouch from 1 day to 2 days
    • Noibat and Noivern can now drop Bat Wings

    Default Keybinds

Keep in mind these changes only apply if the keybinds are reset manually, or on a fresh installation of the modpack:

    • Storage radial menu has been reassigned from G to Shift + B
    • Map radial menu has been reassigned from J to Shift + M
      • A recent update makes radial menus account for key modifiers, which allows these menus' locations to make a whole lot more sense
    • Construction Sticks's Show Previous and Undo Operation have been assigned to Tab.
      • You have to hold down this keybind and right-click to undo. This functionality has also been documented as an aside
      • The keybind was chosen to make this more discoverable, even accidentally, while not being intrusive

    Recipe changes

    • You can now grind Flourescent Cattail into Glowstone
      • It's not particularly efficient but I'm curious to see
    • Soap can now also be crafted with Bleachdew
      • If you saw both you can understand why. The existing recipe is a bit annoying, and I dare find anyone that has tried it. Soap is a pretty nifty item and is needed for the even niftier Bubble Blower, so that's a shame. Hopefully, on the crave for getting a whole new dye and exploring the possibilities of Arts & Crafts, Soap could be noticed.
    • The Schematicannon now requires a Cannon to instead of a Dispenser. Duh?
      • Also requires one less Iron Block as a result
    • The Cannon now always requires a Slingshot instead of a Dispenser
      • Design-wise, if you have ever messed with the Slingshot, you can see why. But most people haven't, and that is a shame. Hopefully this will encourage owning one, at least temporarily.
    • Cannonballs now require Iron Ingots and an Iron Ball instead of Iron Blocks
      • The amount you get has been changed to compensate, but make no mistake. Cannonballs are considerably cheaper now
    • Tera Pouches now require Canvas instead of Leather
      • This is for existing consistency with the modpack's usage of Canvas
    • A Sack requires slightly less canvas
      • I acknowledge that the relatively-undocumented process of collecting Canvas to have a Backpack is a bit steep and tedious. I had wanted to do this for a bit to slightly mitigate it
    • Luminous Jelly can now be crafted by mixing Glowberries, any other berries, and Sugar
    • Luminous Moss now requires Luminous Jelly instead of Glowberries
    • Berry Jam Jar (which is a block from Handcrafted) now requires Sweet Berry Jam (from Brewin' and Chewin')

    Recipe Viewer

    • The Pokemon Café and Poke Costumes cosmetics and their respective items are now documented
      • Due to limitations this has been a semi-manual job. Le sigh...
    • Add a bunch of texual information as "recipes"
      • They come as either more "World Interactions" or "Info". This is mostly to test the waters. Even seeing if they're read in the first place.
    • Link more potion effects to their respective sources. For example:
      • Cleanse effects to Sinister Tea infused with Milk, White Herb, and Mental Herb
      • Sun's Blessing to trading with Umvuthi
      • Glowing with the Spyglass's enchantments (yes it has those)
    • Hide a bunch of unused and redundant potion effects
    • Add more unique representations of tags when used in recipes
    • More aliases, blah blah blah
    • Enable a certain easter egg

    Snorefest

    • Holding a few storage items such as Toolboxes, Packages, or Sophisticated Shulker Boxes can now make you Encumbered.
      • This derives from a tag borrowed from Supplementaries's Sack that didn't quite work as expected, and now it does, so I can write down pointless stuff like this.
      • Backpacks were already afflicted by this, but this is a somewhat unrelated calculation. You can hold one Backpack and one Shulker Box and still not be Encumbered. Variation is encouraged.
    • Fix easter eggs not working properly in multiplayer
    • Fix the hotbar selection quaking in fear
    • Fix Food Diversity benefits stacking to a ridiculous extent and overloading the game when switching dimensions
    • Fix a potential error spam when hovering over items representing multiple block shapes
    • Fix a bunch of miscellaneous tags missing
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.9.1

    release20 февраля 2026 г.
    • Make Polyanthous flowers (from Urban Decor) obtainable from Sniffers digging.
      • This is a bit of a temporary cop-out until better ways to obtain them in existing worlds is available
    • The recipe for Chromite (from Urban Decor) now requires both Iron Nuggets and Prismarine, Veridium, or Asurine.
      • This replaces the Andesite and Stainless Steel Nuggets in the original recipe.
    • The original recipe may have been an oversight, but just replacing the nuggets would've conflicted with the recipe for Andesite Alloy
    • Fix crash when hovering over TM/TRs
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.9.0

    release20 февраля 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

    Removed the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Much to mess with via Chains and ropes, alright:
      • Showcase of Create Bits 'n' Bobs and Reconnectible Chains
      • It may be obvious, but note that these chains and Create's Chain Conveyors are entirely distinct mechanics!
    • A lot of food can now be placed down.
      • Display Items from Display Delight
      • Display Delight includes many, many blocks derived from mods we do not have. These cannot be obtained normally, but are explicitly available when searching the Creative Tabs. Options to include them may be explored at a later time, but to be honest, the block palette is already quite vast!
    • Oh my goodness, Furniture. So, so, so much furniture. Basically infinite of it with Immersive Furniture, but Urban Decor is not too shabby either!
      • Furniture from Urban Decor
      • Items from both Immersive Furniture and Urban are marked as Experimental. I mean, many aspects of the modpack can be removed if issues arise, but this notice exists as an even clearer warning, until the items "settle" among the rest (or not!).
    • The search and scroll bar in the Creative Tabs now persists when opening and closing the inventory
    • Door adjacent to one another open together
    • More subtle animations when items are carried in the inventory
      • When hovered, items sometimes appear in front of the hightlighted slot. It's a feature, not a bug, I swear!
    • Fix several Create-themed structures not generating
    • Custom raids are going to be even more awesome in the long run for us

Wow. What a mouthful already. With these additional bits and pieces to spice up your decorations, and especially Immersive Furniture oh my word, I can no longer recommend 4 GB of allocated RAM minimum, even if it'd be totally playable with it. Crank that up to 5 GB, will you?

    Courtesy of Candle:

    • Add data for newly-added abilities

    Modpack:

    • The Potion of Girl Power can now be used to change a Pokemon's gender
      • Gender change potion in action
      • Crazy how biology just... does that
    • Many modpack-specific sounds can now be heard for everyone, rather than just the local player
    • Many player-specific easter eggs now work for everyone in singleplayer
      • This includes the air dash
      • Speaking of which, remove the Chocolate Bucket easter egg (if you know, you know)
    • Gravel Bricks no longer break when falling onto them
    • Bees no longer fly over Seats and get stuck inside on their way home

    Aesthetics:

    • The blur in the pause menu & similar has been restored
      • The lack thereof was due to a bug with radial menus, which has been fixed upstream
      • The bottom-left of the screen is still darker in order to better appreciate our horrible tips
    • The highlight that appears when hovering over a item in a menu has been toned down drastically and features a blueish tint
      • Slot highlight in recipe viewer Slot highlight in inventory
      • The intention of this change is to let you get a better look at the item you're looking at, plus it's less jarring to see when "items in front of the highlight." happy accident happens. Even in later Minecraft versions, the highlight was severely toned down and became customizable, but we do not have that luxury. I literally modified the core shaders for this.
    • Tone down the volume of soup items in the inventory, so you may drink without getting jumped
    • Add theme-colored borders for way more tooltips
    • Add more specific sounds to more blocks:
      • Postboxes, Way Signs, several wood types (Zelkova, Ironwood, Mahogany, etc.) and corresponding leaves
      • Honestly, a lot of these are "vibes" and may be changed in the future. Some of the pre-made sound types are really ill-fitting.

    Snorefest:

    • Add a few more search aliases
    • Group more mods together in the Mod Menu
    • Update the existing mod sets
    • Add a report link that sends you to the Github repository when something fails due to some KubeJS code. Just in case.
      • Yes, I know, KubeJS found 4 errors. That one is out of my hands.
    • Fix "Hold TAB to change shape" appearing when hovering over items in the recipe viewer
    • Fix several missing tags
    • Fix many repeated shapes when using Change Shape on the Copycat Block
    • A LOT of refactoring behind the scenes.
      • I know it looks like nothing, but I am a lone man with little to no points of reference

The KubeJS API is cool, but rather limiting. Many aspects need to be thought of from scratch, because some engine classes are either inaccessible or too cumbersome to use. It feels designed to encourage copy-pasting over reusable code, which is not sustainable in the long run. I am attempting to rectify that over time, working with what I've got to create something cleaner.

Regardless, thank you for sticking around, y'all. Or as you would say, thank you for the modpack mimmy

  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.8.0

    release13 февраля 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Cute lil' shutters that can be arranged in non-shuttery ways ShutterUp Showcase
    • Servers may go slightly more vroom vroom

I have a lot on my plate, I just need to push this one out. Potential interest in automation via Create means there could be a few more ways to get the materials you need. So here's what we're going to do, Walter:

    • Expand on existing fluid interactions against Lava:
      • Tumblestone Coating makes Granite, Diorite, Andesite
      • Light Tumblestone Coating makes Calcite, Tuff, Dacite
      • Dense Tumblestone Coating makes Soapstone, Pietraforte, Gypsum
      • The three choices are random
      • This replaces a few interactions from the previous update
    • More ways to obtain nuggets following these steps:
      • Crush Calcite -> wash White Sand -> obtain Zinc Nuggets
      • Crush Gypsum -> wash Orange Sand -> obtain Copper Nuggets
      • Crush Blackstone -> wash Black Sand -> obtain Gold Nuggets This stuff is very much up in the air and will keep changing routinely.

    Alright, now onto more stuff:

    • Overhaul "Giving items directly to players" logic
    • Add Change Shape functionality to Framed Glass, some Copycats, and Decal blocks
      • Framed Glass shapes Decals shapes
      • Not every Copycat block can be accounted for, due to implementation quirks
    • It is now possible to use Tree Bark to repair stripped logs
    • It is now possible to use Iron Blocks to repair damaged anvils
    • Allow a few modded wood types to be crafted into Sophisticated Storage
      • Zelkova and Pale Jacaranda feature their own palette
      • Cherry, Zelkova, and Pale Jacaranda chests and barrels alongside their respective planks Zelkova Chest recipe
      • This is very experimental and may not be ultimately all-encompassing
    • Rename Paintbrush to Storage Paintbrush
      • Important distinction. I know, confusing... It's not like other mods can really account for each other.
    • Add ability to use a dyed Paintbrush onto many dyable blocks
      • As a reminder, here's how many dyable blocks there are in Bubble Cobble so far. How chromatic.
      • Showcase of all of the dyable blocks in the modpack
    • Recipe changes:
      • Any Crafting Table variation can now be used for recipes that used to require just the vanilla one
      • The Lectern's recipe now allows for any Bookshelf variation
      • Add recipe to make Tuff by compacting Ash
      • Add "World Interaction" recipes to a few modpack-exclusive interactions
        • This allows them to be documented in the recipe viewer properly, somewhat
    • A few more entities that should glow in the dark now emit light dynamically
    • Items enchanted with Fire Aspect now also emit light dynamically
    • Sleds are now grouped in the recipe viewer
    • Loot containers can no longer be rotated with a Rotation Wrench
    • The Ghostbusters Lunar Event causes Intoxication instead of Tipsy
      • It also no longer spawns more spiders
      • These patch notes, dude
    • Fix "Are you serious" advancement triggering incorrectly
    • Fix being able to see Experience Orbs on the JADE Overlay
    • Fix recipe conflict between the vanilla Crafting Table and its variations
    • Fix hammers being usable to ride on Chain Conveyors (for real)
    • Fix Zubat line not dropping bat wings as intended
    • Fix invalid "potion of luck" appearing when looking up Automated Brewing recipes
    • Fix Super Packing Tape not being retextured
    • Fix empty gap in dyed Sophisticated Barrels
    • Tweaks to localization strings used for tags
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.7.3

    release8 февраля 2026 г.

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Fix crash introduced in a prior version of Immersive Paintings

    • You can now also use Pickaxes and Hoes to ride Chain Conveyors
      • Not every one has courage to make a Wrench, I suppose
    • Add "Placeable" tooltip to the specific Cobblemon items that can be placed
    • Make the Temporal Pouch and Blazing Flask glow faintly
    • Update the arm animations when holding Torches, Lanterns, and Filled Maps
    • Many items are now held upwards, including Compasses, Pokefinders, Lighting Rods (hint hint), many flowers, etc.
    • Fix many instances of the holding arm clipping through the head in the open inventory animation
    • Fix missing held items drops from raids
    • Fix wrong Sophisticated Storage recipes from the prior version
    • Fix some erroneous or missing tags from tool-like items
    • Fix huge error in the logs when hostiles try to spawn sometimes
    • General clean-up of unused things
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.7.2

    release7 февраля 2026 г.

    Dang it.

Also Cobblemon Raid Dens update while at it.

  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.7.1

    release7 февраля 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • RAM go wroom wroom, but I had to upgrade NeoForge for it. I foresee issues on some launchers.
    • Network go a bit more vroom vroom?

    • Add sounds for opening Curios and Accessories menus
    • Add inventory sounds for I-am-not-telling-you-what
    • The Accessories menu is now in dark mode
    • Compress several modpack assets
    • Fix Relics's belts not generating as loot
    • Fix missing TM/TRs tags and Barrage moves
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.7.0

    release6 февраля 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • A LOT of Pokemon are now rideable
    • It's now possible to place some Cobblemon items such as Super Potions, X Defense, Cleanse Tag, etc.
    • Many Pokemon have been "officially" added and thus have updated models
    • You can right-click Deoxys's meteor to change its form
    • You can put a Campfire Pot on a Stove and it works
    • Recipes from My Nether's Delight now work on Campfire Pots
    • Add dynamax clouds (only GMax had them apparently?) and Tera particles
    • Add compatibility between CobbleStats and Cobblemon Raid Dens
    • Wrenches can be customized silly!
      • Customized Wrench
    • Fix not being able to trim Furfrou for some reason
    • Fix items in the recipe viewer not moved to the side when there are upgrade tabs shown in Sophisticated Limited Barrels

    • Courtesy of Candle:
      • Many changes to many Pokemon moves and movesets
    • Overhaul Create-Cobblemon recipes for Poke Balls
      • The TL:DR is that many of the steps required to automatically are being streamlined considerably, while still relying on Create Cobblemon Balls Overhaul's recipes. No more half apricorns, no more ball bases, no Blank Lid.
      • These are prone to change further in the future
    • Add way more fluid interactions against Lava:
      • Standard Tumblestone Coating turns into Granite
      • Light Tumblestone Coating turns into Diorite
      • Dense Tumblestone Coating turns into Blackstone
      • Ketchup turns into Red Soapstone
      • Mayonnaise turns into Calcite
      • These are quite arbitrary, and are prone to change in the future. Don't rely on them too much, but know they exist because they're cool!
    • Enabled the Leather Belt, Drowned Belt, and Hunter Belt
    • Lower the Running Shoes's boost per-level gain
      • This lowers the maximum possible speed boost (240% -> 180%)
      • I know what you may be thinking but it genuinely got uncontrollable, to the point where upgrading the shoes further was a hindrance
    • Change the default keybind to open the Accessories slots (Z Slot & co.) from Keypad 4 to CTRL + E
    • Change the default keybind to open the Curios inventory (Backpack, Relics, etc.) from Keypad 5 to SHIFT + E
      • Given the major importance of Relics/Backpacks, this seems to make sense
      • Remember, these default keybind changes will apply only when the key is reset manually in the Options menu
    • Pressing the Change Shape key (Tab by default) in the inventory should no longer trigger other actions when inappropriate (like buttons getting focused)
    • Fix Pale Oak Shelf not dropping when mined
    • Fix Barrage move missing from the available TM/TRs
    • Fix being able to carry Copycat blocks
    • Fix Tumblestone Coating fluid having no translation string
    • Fix recipe viewer's View Tree not mapped to Ctrl + T properly
    • Fix some EMI-related errors
    • Fix a few more "air" crafting recipes where "Logs into Wood" used to be
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.6.3

    release2 февраля 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

With this one, a button will appear on the title screen notifying when you're playing on an out-of-date version of the modpack.

Assuming I don't screw up because it's a bit of a manual process.

Clicking on the button will bring you to the changelog. You'll still have to update manually from your launcher. It's not always required to update the modpack, but it's nice to know when, say, you can't join a server anymore!

    • Courtesy of Candle:

      • Lower the Pokemon breeding time from 8-13 to 5-10 minutes
      • Double the chance to get a shiny Pokemon when hatching eggs
        • In practice, this means that the chance to obtain a shiny is now the same as the original Pokémon games, that is, 1/4096
        • Remember, through the Masuda method (if you know you know), the odds skyrocket to 1/512!
      • Changed the cursor for a charted map again
    • Add search alias for Mailbox- err, Postboxes

  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.6.2

    release1 февраля 2026 г.

In the prior patch, some people were unable to launch the game on Modrinth Launcher. This, for some reason, is caused by the never versions of ModSets and PreloadingTricks, which were downgraded as a result.

    • Enable the Time Sand Pouch
      • This nifty bag stores a Minecraft day-worth of elapsed time. Use it on a block to speed it up
    • The time it takes to use the Escape Rope has been lowered from 5 to 3 seconds
      • Its cooldown has been increased to compensate
    • The Sack can now be equipped in the Back slot
      • Don't ask why. I just thought it makes sense as the earliest option for a backpack. Because, you know you can put stuff in it too, right?
    • Shulker Boxes can no longer be carried in backpacks
    • Change EMI's Recipe Tree keybind from T to CTRL + T
      • SOME OF US were bothered that it got triggered while the Sophisticated containers' search bar was focused
    • Increase Enderman spawn chances. Again
    • You can now put a Skillet on your head
      • (this required some really shoddy code, may I add. Its durability doesn't even go down in there)
    • Add inventory particles when Pokemon Eggs are about to hatch
    • Add more search aliases
    • Add a new cursor that appears when pointing at a Waypoint sign connected to a charted path
    • Framed Glass now counts as infrastructure for charted paths
    • Fix being able to chart paths inside a Raid Den
    • Fix Copper Buttons not being mineable with pickaxes
    • Fix my sleep schedule
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.6.1

    release30 января 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • The eating time of the Lunchbag, Launchbox, and Golden Launchbox now depends on the chosen food (link)
    • The durability of a Grappling Hook is now consumed when hitting a block, not when using it (link)
    • Fix Youtube video playback no longer working (link)
    • Fix Dynamic FPS being blamed for every crash ever (link)
    • And... Hell...

Relics has been accidentally updated to its stable, original version. This caused many existing relics to be lost in the process. The council has decided...

To keep it that way, okay. That's alright... So, that means lots of new Relics/Artifacts. Well, new for us anyway. These are actually older versions of themselves. Less polished, more in quantity. But with that comes some caveats:

    • I have disabled their corresponding cosmetic slots.
      • There's frankly far too many slots to keep in mind, already. And we like to show off our skin (blush emoji).
    • I have purposefuly disabled several Relics/Artifacts that are either too broken or I do not have time to balance properly.
      • Sorry, Umbrella. Screw you, Eternal Beef.
      • This took a painful amount of time to set up.
    • The chances of Relics themselves spawning has also been lowered considerably.
      • Say, before it was genuinely a Relic every 3 opened chests, now it's closer to every 8.
      • I may lower them again. The chances are actually not quite accurate because Artifacts also try to generate, independently.
      • There's plenty of Loot Chests going around, I'm sure you won't miss much. Ah, our temptation to pick up everything shiny we see in a Chest...

The current mod selection has settled somewhat, which means it's a good opportunity to do this kind of thing without having wasted my time

    • Sounds:
      • Added inventory sounds to way more items, such as Toolboxes, Books, Sweets, Candy, Grappling Hooks, Construction Wands, fermented drinks, etc.
      • Lowered the volume of Raid Cheers
      • Changed the sound of Bells and Enchanted Books to be less obnoxious
      • Changed the sound of severel items, like Poke Balls, which vary depending on tier
    • A few rare items now sparkle, similarly to TMs
    • A few more items now glow in the dark, including Luminous Moss and Light Ball
    • Add inventory particles to non-vanilla torches
    • Add recipe to craft Dark Sparkling Stone from Light Sparkling Stone and viceversa
    • Dark Sparkling Stone can now be found in raids
    • Add a search alias for Lettuce-err, Cabbage, because I keep confusing the two.
      • Among several others, and a few easter eggs
    • Fix Copper Nuggets being accidentally unobtainable from crushing
      • Would you really have noticed with all of the copper lying around?
    • Fix Gilded Loot Chests sharing in chat how much they want to die
    • Fix certain sounds overriding more specific sounds
      • This mainly affected Cobblemon held and and evolution items, allowing these to potentially sound unique
      • The Snowball still sounds goofy though, too tired to fix that one
    • Fix some items missing from tags
    • I forgot to mention last time that Pokemon Eggs can now be fried because I said so, and I don't even like frittata that much. Put, like, some parmiggiano in it.
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.6.0

    release28 января 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • Awe-inspiring, custom Raid Dens
    • Loot chests have particles that were previously unimplemented by accident, I guess
    • With a spear, Candle will finally know how it feels to shove it after begging for it for so long

    • Courtesy of Candle:
      • Retexture the Pokemon Egg item and Girl Power icon
      • Add icon for the underutilized Begone effect
      • Fix a nasty crash when a Pokemon's status changes in Singleplayer during battles
        • (Psss. This will allow us to have custom moves/abilities in the future)
    • Add a Bubble Cobble-branded Ruler item:
      • Right-click on a block to begin measuring. While measuring, the HUD will display the difference in width and height. Right-click again to stop measuring
      • Increases block interaction range when held in hand
      • Can be crafted with Bamboo and Andesite Alloy
    • Recipe viewer (EMI) changes:
      • Reorder categories to prioritize accessibility over a more "proper" order
        • For example, for the few items that have it, the Info category now appears first instead of last
        • The recipe categories to the right tend to be more complex ways of obtaining/utilizing a given item
      • Document how to create Limestone/Scoria from Lava and Honey/Chocolate (yeah that's a thing)
      • Hide Automatic Shapeless, Automatic Packing, and Copper Pot Cooking categories
    • Update the inventory particles of TMs/TRs
    • Add inventory particles for more redstone-adjacent items, water, milk
    • Add inventory sounds for many, many items, including drinks, buckets, powders, mints, and other, mostly Cobblemon-adjacent items
    • Add specialized sounds to more blocks such as Cattail Thatch
    • Add icons for the Bubble Cobble drinks when the liquid is viewed inside a Keg
    • Add a few advancements
    • Use 3D model for the Mace (thank you VanillaTweaks)
    • The Headhunter enchantment now increases the chances for Wither Skeleton Skulls, as well
    • The world map and minimap are now disabled inside a Raid Den
    • It is no longer possible to carry Sophisticated Storage's Chests
      • This is to prevent item deletion when carrying double chests. It really shouldn't happen, and I cannot reproduce it, but better safe than sorry
      • The Packing Tape can still be used for this purpose
    • It is no longer possible to equip a Backpack in the Accessories's Back slot
      • The Backpack can still be equipped in Curios's Back slot
      • Accessories are currently reserved for Mega Bracelets, Z-Rings, the Tera Orb, etc.
    • Endermen's bones will now crack less often, and only when there's a block around them that they can pick up
    • Reduce spawns during the Super Ghostbusters (I can't believe these are actual patchnotes, dude)
    • Use Immersive Optimization's Performance preset by default
    • Sort out the mod list quite a lot
    • Fix "air" crafting/stonecutting recipes where stairs, slabs, and walls used to be
    • Fix extremely loud incorrect buzzer noise with the God Stick's Replacement mode
    • Fix lone Custom Tera Shard among the Creative Tabs
    • General internal refactoring
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.5.2

    release24 января 2026 г.

Some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

Added many, many recipe defaults for EMI, the recipe viewer. These recipe defaults are used to better visualize the Recipe Tree, which is a very obscure feature that no one has ever interacted with, despite the ominous button hinting at it on the bottom-left

As a few examples, this is the recipe tree of a Glowing Frame:

Recipe tree for a Glowing Frame, as shown in EMI

The following is how to expand the recipe tree of a Pokedex:

Showcase on how to visualize the recipe tree of a Pokedex

Many ingredients of a recipe need to be expanded manually into a nested recipe, either because they are too basic or their origins are unclear. These basic ingredients range from Iron Ingots, Sticks, Apricorns, to Milk, Dough, Eggs, because there's multiple ways to obtain them. With defaults, it's possible to let the recipe tree expand automatically, using one specific recipe for an ingredient. With that said, it's still possible to choose a different recipe to tackle, if necessary, by left-clicking on the ingredient in the recipe tree, and left-clicking on the output. Showcase on choosing a different recipe, by left-clicking on any ingredient in the recipe, then on the output

Oh and if you click on the Lens button? "Crafting recipe tree. Progress will be shown in Synthetic favorites added to sidebar" Synthetic favorites added to sidebar

    Yeah... happy crafting!

I can't really go onto an in-depth tutorial on how to make use of it in the patch-notes, right? Right?

    Okay, here's other changes:

    • Recipe viewer changes:
      • Add an History panel to the bottom-right of the Index*
        • History panel, below the Index panel in the EMI recipe viewer
        • That extra dotted line is needed to consistently show the extra row for some reason
      • Slightly shrink the recipe screen
      • The internal IDs of recipes are no longer shown
    • Keybind changes:
      • Assign Show Tree and Show Stack Tree to T
        • These keybinds shows the recipe tree of the hovered item/recipe
        • These complement the existing R for showing recipes and U for showing usages
      • Assign Favorite to SHIFT + Left Button, in addition to V
        • The ability to favourite items and whole recipes is severely underutilized. Maybe this will help.
        • It's important for the modifier to be SHIFT, as it comes more natural when managing inventories in Minecraft
      • Assign Default Stack from CTRL + Left Button to SHIFT + V
        • Given the presence of the button that does the same thing, plus its niche use outside of development, the original assignment occupies a pretty important spot.
      • Assign Hide Stack from CTRL + Left Button to CTRL + H
      • Assign Hide Stack by ID from CTRL + SHIFT + Left Button to CTRL + SHIFT + H
        • Mostly keybinds useful in development
      • Assign all of the Cheat keybinds to not require SHIFT, but rather CTRL.
        • With the aforementioned Favorite keybind change, there would be a conflict.
        • I am aware this will screw with your muscle memory. I'm sorry...
    • Add translation strings to many, many items and tags
    • General clean-up of unused items/configuration files
    • Fix huge Enderman implosion during a specific Lunar Event
    • Fix flood of error messages caused by potion effects changing
    • Fix being able to carry Create's Packages
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.5.1

    release23 января 2026 г.

    Removed the following projects:

    • MonsterPlus
      • As we suspect have been the cause of lag and general server bloat, we had already disabled the hostiles from this mod quite a while ago. This is the final clean-up.

And some projects were updated to their latest version.

    • Courtesy of Candle:
      • Retextured both the Curio & Accessories inventory icons
      • Retextured a moon
    • Added exclusive Cracked Mud Bricks, Chiseled Mud Bricks, Mud Pillar
      • Cracked Mud Bricks, Chiseled Mud Bricks, Mud Pillar
    • Added more "tips"
    • Tone Endermen & Spider spawns back down
      • With the Lunar Event changes more Endermen tended to spawn considerably more often, and their bones cracking comedically makes them more noticeable, too. So let's test lower numbers a notch again
  • Bubble Cobble Redux 1.5.0

    release22 января 2026 г.

    Added the following projects:

    Removed the following projects:

    • Haven Trowel
      • In favour of our own Bubble-Cobble Trowel

And some projects were updated to their latest version. In summary, what this entails for us is:

    • So, so, so many new coloured blocks to mess with. We're all artists, after all.
      • If you can find Soapstone, Chalk generating naturally, that is. Uh... Dyed Decorated Pots...
      • Dyed Decorated Pot with the face of a Ditto
      • ...Mud Bricks can be dyed. That's all you care about. I know you.
    • Raid dens now generate in a single, permanent Raid dimension
    • Raid battles now share weather, terrain, fields, screens, and the raid boss's stat boosts and statuses
    • Equip some pokemon with somewhat-specific yet documented items, such as White Wool and Gold Nuggets, for some cute outfits!
    • Small flowers can be bonemealed to duplicate them

    • Lunar Event changes:
      • During any moon event, all hostiles should now spawn on the surface more frequently
        • Some exceptions may apply
        • There were some minor concerns that up here was a little too peaceful, so the barrier of entry for Zombies & co. has been toned down this way.
        • Mobs still won't spawn where they can see most of the sky
      • Shiny rates are once again increased during a Blue Moon (albeit to a much lesser extent)
      • During the Blood Moon
        • Beacon ranges are doubled
        • All players become stronger and enraged under the moon light
        • All monsters become weaker
        • Slightly more player XP is awarded
        • Slightly less red sky color
      • Added new moons
    • Discord Rich Presence now shows when someone is in a raid
    • Endermen now suffer from Osteoporosis
    • In the recipe viewer, when an ingredient can accept multiple items, is sometimes represented uniquely
      • This can either be a pile of items, or a combination of all textures representing the ingredient
      • Item models representing item tags, as displayed in the recipe viewer
      • This is intended to mitigate confusion, but it is quite experimental and may be too much of a jumbled mess. Feedback is very, very welcome.
    • Notable code refactoring under the hood
      • Deleting the kubejs folder before updating is recommended but should not be mandatory 🤞
    • Fix being able to carry the crystal that returns you from a Raid
    • Fix some tips
    • Fix unable to call the Ghostbusters
