    Removed trim usage limits and merged empowerment

    And added compatibility to 26.2 (so far). Recommended to update the resource pack.

    v4.0.0 Changelogs
    • Any number of players can use any trims however they like now, instead of multiple abilities breaking if two players used the same trim
    • The trust system has also been remade, and is now properly stored on the player
    • Added "Ownership System" as a core setting, defaults to off and self explanatory
    • Some messages and settings are now changed to account for this, defaulting to simplicity but explanations favoring the old system.
    • Removed a lot of less useful abilities, merged some others, and added a few ; every trim has 4 abilities

    Trim changes

    • Wayfinder

      • Removed: Traversal, Paired Locator, and parts of Explorer++
      • Explorer and Locator now work while holding spears, compasses, or standing on a few other blocks
      • Grapple can now be used on entities (pulls the user)
      • Increased Grapple collision size to work on the very corner of blocks
      • Increased the frequency at which Explorer is used, keeping effects more consistent
      • Removed the speed clear from stopping sprint
    • Silence

      • Removed: Serenity, and Blindness immunity
      • Darkness only applies while in combat, and no longer affects mobs with Weakness
      • Harvester is now 0-1 Echo Shards, with the setting now defining the maximum amount
      • Tracking and Amethyst particles no longer activate on spectator players
      • Vortex damage no longer scales with difficulty, now defaults to very slightly below Hard
      • New scale setting for Vortex on 1.21+

      • Exchange now works on untrusted players, and can no longer be used on players who recently swapped gamemodes
      • All golems spawned by Host will immediately be able to attack players
      • Removed Guardian granting nearby Iron Golems Strength, and reduced the maximum counter for golems by 1

    Objectives / progression

    • Added "Objective Completion" as a child of "Objective Type", which prevents objectives from being registered as complete when completed, allowing multiple players to progress and/or obtain the corresponding trim
    • Trim synergy now requires the player to have killed a Wither
    • Slightly increased the cooldown on progressing Eye's task
    • Reduced the chance of Dune's quest "failing", but it now requires a second suspicious sand block
    • Wayfinder no longer has unique progression, its quest groups structures, and Mushroom Fields isn't a bonus
    • Raiser's quest progress now resets on death
    • Rib's quest no longer requires wearing a Wither Skull
    • The normal Creator music disc can now be used with Bolt's quest

    Settings / systems

    • Setting visibility is now based on other settings, like Random Task Defender only visible if Objective Type is set to Tasks
    • Added small icons to the advancement guides, and updated their order to be more helpful for server settings
    • The "Template Clearing" system will now prevent item-drop enforcement if disabled
      • If Template Clearing is disabled, armor won't be transferred when dropped
    • Templates dropped on death will now be properly stored
    • Removed "armor controls ownership", and temporarily the "egg bonus" settings
    • Added a form of fallback in case another datapack breaks trim detection
    • Small organization optimizations to help mitigate the performance reduction from usage limit removal

    Miscellaneous

    • Reversed the order in which logs appear, so most recent is at the bottom of chat
    • Added vanilla synergy to previously empowerable trims, with Amethyst working with Spire to give Quartz bonus
    • Removed trust effects from Vulnerability and Fear's reduction
    • Adjusted some sounds to make them more balanced, or quieter if they can be stacked like Gamble
    • Updated the descriptions of some abilities
      • Every ability message completely fits into maximum chat size in English

    • Vex's Lunge will now cancel current momentum, making its range more consistent and helping with falls. Also added a setting to make it single-tap
    • Improved the functionality (and rotation) of Vex's Double-Strike
    • Wind Barrage returns excess Wind Charges upon activation
    • Flow's Wind Barrage and Gust will be slightly weaker if there's a block above the user (intended for caves)
    • Coast's Propel (empowered trident after kills) doubles the strength of Harpoon
    • Water and Lava cancel Spire's Void Plunge
    • Improved the placement and visuals of Grass Traps
    • Sentry's emerald bonus will only work if there's a Villager nearby
    • Slight tweak to the visuals of Host's Exchange, with a small increase to cooldown
    • Dune gets Haste when placing and mining sand to help with Raisure, and extended Novelty's Absorption duration
    • Spire activating Reversal cancels Weightless Field, and now works in creative

      • "Disfigure" detection range has been increased, and will take half as long against pearls thrown by other players with a extra chunk of range

        • Can now be used while sneaking, and "Grand Reveal" can no longer be charged while using this ability, but it won't be cancelled if already active.
        • Popping a pearl thrown by another player will inflict them with a curse, temporarily preventing them from throwing pearls.
        • Fixed both inconsistencies with how fast Disfigure can initially detect and pop projectiles - reduced the default time to account for this.
      • "Reveal" will be temporarily disabled while using "Stalk"

        • Paired with the new refresh effect, this can gives Ballista up to nearly double the amount of shots, not counting improved usability/versatility
        • The refresh gives 20 minutes while actually completing a raid gives 40 minutes, meaning players usually get 3 total shots for the raid tier they completed
        • Increased the cooldown, charge time, damage, and range of this ability. The particle trail now lasts longer / is thicker as well

        • Can now be used while sneaking, and "Grand Reveal" can no longer be charged while using this ability, but it won't be cancelled if already active.

        • Paired with the new refresh effect, this can gives Ballista up to nearly double the amount of shots, not counting improved usability/versatility
        • The refresh gives 20 minutes while actually completing a raid gives 40 minutes, meaning players usually get 3 total shots for the raid tier they completed
        • Increased the cooldown, charge time, damage, and range of this ability. The particle trail now lasts longer / is thicker as well

    Trims

    • Armor Stand will no longer be targeted by abilities, again.
    • Creative players are now immune to most "item modifiers" ("Florist" use, "Grapple" durability, and "Warp" compasses)
    • Spire's "Void Plunge" now lasts an extra 22 seconds to help with long dives (18s > 40s)
      • Will now cancel if the player uses an elytra (unless in creative), or teleports using "Origin"
    • Increased the cooldown of Spire's "Reversal" so it's not always ready by the time the user lands
    • Spire's default "Guidance" range has been lowered. (Setting is low by default, but medium is its normal distance)
      • The cooldown for "Guidance" will also reset when entering the End or having "Void Plunge" cancelled.
    • Spire's "Aperture" fall damage immunity particles will now be less tall if the user is gliding with an elytra
    • Slight increase to Vortex's damage and range, and reduced the difference between minimum and maximum damage.
    • Tide's "Reservoir" ability now resets the progress of default recharge (so holding right click in water isn't just 2x faster)
    • Tide's "Tidal Surge" can now be used even if there is a block above you, somewhat a fix.

      • Coast: "Fire" projectiles go slightly further when inside a shipwreck, based on the type
      • Ward: "Kinetic" charges faster when in the Deep Dark
      • Eye: "Scare" charge depletes at half the speed when not looking at a player while in a stronghold

    • The Dragon Egg now grants one of the trim's environmental buffs - as a setting

      • The armor-checking system has been updated to better account for the dragon egg, with some possible fixes to some rare, general edge-cases.
      • Only activates if it's on your currently equipped armor
      • Still acts as a "universal" material, working with any set or trims.
      • The effects don't improve if the condition is also met. (e.g Bolt won't have +4 stacks while in a Trial Chamber)
        • Wayfinder: Explorer/Trailblazer charges faster
        • Silence: Track nearby sprinting players
        • Raiser: Reduced "Piercer" experience drain
        • Shaper: Complete immunity to valid explosions
        • Sentry: Even higher plain arrow damage (1.5x > 1.75x, village still 2.0x)
        • Spire: Higher jump boost and Enderman immunity
        • Coast: Slight projectile range increase
        • Snout: Slightly faster "Gamble"
        • Ward: Faster "Kinetic" charging
        • Bolt: +2 stacks to "Charge"

    • Spire getting locked in place with no fall damage immunity when going through its Aperture
    • Spire's "Guidance" cancelling the fall immunity from "Aperture" (instant taps still remove it)
    • Spire being able to make itself immune to normal damage for almost a entire minute
    • Reloading the server resets Spire's "Reversal" charge, and/or cancels "Void Plunge". Also not cancelling any cooldown notifications
    • Some abilities persisting after respawn (ie; reversal charge progress)
    • The range of Raiser's "Piercer" beam still increases while holding experience bottle
    • Vortex being put on a partially infinite cooldown if it never actually explodes
    • Tide's Water-"Tidal Burst" doesn't cancel "Tidal Surge"
    • Sentry not gaining Slowness while charing "Ballista"
    • Snout being able to gamble one of any item upon re-equipping the set
    • Snout "Gamble" items not resetting after the trim is unequipped, therefore never despawning.
    • A few abilities revealing spectators, mainly Alarm and Locator. Also made some no longer target creative players.
    • Being able to immediately use "Impact Blast" with Shaper through a specific scenario
    • RTD's tutorial stopping on failure instead of only success
    • Armor-to-armor transfers overriding the target's current trim if they have one on

    Resource pack: New translations and copper armor support
