Essentials
Essentials expands automation and redstone in a balanced and vanilla style.
- Shift-right-clicking with a wrench or linking tool now takes priority over using whatever you have in your offhand
- Pulse circuits now produce a pulse of the signal strength of the source, rather than always 1
- Fixed several bugs related to precise timing of redstone pulses with delay, pulse, and clock circuits
- Fixed fertile soil creating partially-grown crops
- Fixed an incorrectly formatted linking tool message
- Fixed ComputerCraft circuit integration not reliably interacting with circuits, and added a new peripheral command to reset a wire splice plate that had its value set by computer.
- Fixed sorting hoppers not being able to pick up dropped items through hopper filters
- Fixed a crash if Patchouli loads in an errored state
- Fixed crash with circuits for rounding, flooring, ceiling, and logarithms.
- Fixed a crash on dedicated servers
- Added Japanese language support, courtesy of Hamutaromaru
- Obsidian cutting kit now also works on crying obsidian
- Made fertile soil cheaper
- Added an alternate recipe to make slotted chests with barrels
- Fixed some broken recipes
- Fixed some issues with the Patchouli guidebook
- Fixed the modname being displayed as 'essentials' instead of 'Essentials' in some contexts
- Fixed visual quirks in some UIs

+Candles/torches can now be directly placed on lilypads by right-clicking
+Fertile soil crop types can now be controlled by adding crops (including modded crops) to a new tag.
*Fertile soil now works differently. There is only one fertile soil variant for all crops. Crops planted on fertile soil will 'spread' to adjacent soil (both fertile soil and regular soil).
*New candle lilypad model that looks like a vanilla candle on a lilypad
*New brazier model made of tuff instead of andesite
*Changed brazier recipe to use tuff
*Hopper filter can now be set to multiple items using bundles (setting the filter with shulker boxes is unchanged).
*Fixed some blocks not having a correct tool type as items.
*Fixed link lines rendering strangely
-Removed autocrafter (made obsolete by vanilla)
Patchouli integration may be a bit wonky on this version, as this update was written before Patchouli had updated to MC1.21.
