- Added an experimental world generation type, Endless Ice Maze (available alongside vanilla presets like Superflat). Many players were trying to create a world with an infinite Ice Maze as a challenge, so this is now supported out of the box
- Further optimized Maw by reducing loot table generation frequency (the item chance is determined first, and the table is only generated if needed)
- Fixed Maw's AI and goal priorities (no longer forgets how to swim when aggressive, along with other inconsistencies)
- Fixed incorrect generation of Maw's mouth item (which was affecting performance) and improved Maw's overall code
- Added Jellyfish Jelly, dropped from Abyssal Scyphoid. Used as an ingredient for the Poison Immunity potion. Its duration can be extended with Wisteria Niveis.
- Added a chance for Poison Immunity potions to generate in Pillager Ship chests.
- Removed Potion of Tenacity and Spectral Potion due to lack of meaningful use.
- Reworked Sea Casserole – now crafted using Jellyfish Jelly and grants Poison Immunity.
- Significantly increased Angler's poison strength and improved its loot table.
- Increased Eel aggression, added a stronger poison effect to its bites, applied a debuff to its roar, and improved its loot table.
- Improved the stats of most food items to make them more meaningful.

- Complete overhaul of the Ice Maze generation (backported from the upcoming Aquamirae 7)! Instead of dense clusters of wall-like structures that didn't truly form a proper maze, the generation now uses a multi-layered noise-based system. This makes exploration more immersive and visually diverse, while also significantly improving performance by reducing the number of generated structures several times over.
- Weather inside the Ice Maze has been adjusted – it now properly snows within the biome. This is a temporary implementation and not as robust as the system planned for Aquamirae 7, so in large modpacks with custom world generation it may not always apply correctly.
- Added a subtle ambient background loop to reinforce the atmosphere of the frozen wasteland.
- Removed procedurally generated loot armor from the Creative tab. It can still be obtained as drops, but will no longer clutter your JEI listings.
- Fixed incorrect refmap reference causing a mixin apply error on startup
- Fixed shelters incorrectly flooding when generated inside underground water pockets
- Fixed drowned spawned by Dead Sea Scroll being subject to despawn
- Fixed Dead Sea Scroll always spawning a drowned
- Rune of the Storm can now be applied using the Smithing Table
- Fixed music discs being interrupted
- Fixed unknown crystallization damage type

General
- Animation library improvements.
- Fixed a bug where animation keyframes didn't have a smooth transition with some shaders.

Captain Cornelia
- Cornelia can now switch weapons mid-combat, gaining different passive attack effects. She analyzes the enemy and tries to choose the most effective weapon.
- The interval between Cornelia's attacks has been increased.
- Cornelia now has a chance to summon Maze Roses instead of Poisoned Chakras.
- Fixed a bug where Cornelia wouldn't turn towards her target while levitating.
Mobs
- Maws eat everything indiscriminately. They now have a 10% chance to have random items in their mouths.
Gameplay
- Added maps with Ship, Outpost and Shelter locations.
- Treasure Pouch now has a 10% chance to generate a map pointing to the nearest ship or outpost.
- Cornelia is guaranteed to drop a map pointing to the nearest Shelter.
- Pillagers and Vindicators that naturally spawn in the Ice Maze will now have themed loot tables.
