  • Abundant Atmosphere 2.0.0 - Beta 1

    Please note - Not all features are finalized or implemented in this beta. Features are subject to change or be added in the future.

    New built-in support with :

    • No Man's Land
    • Farmer's Delight
    • The Block Box

    Vanilla Overrides :

    • Plant placement has been changed, letting you place plants on blocks like mossy & mud blocks. Plants and saplings have new tags that they use, abundant_atmosphere:plant_placeable_on & abundant_atmosphere:sapling_grows_on. (feature can be disabled in Config)
    • Bamboo recipes have been reworked, making Bamboo Blocks actual storage blocks & changing up how planks are crafted. This also applies to Red Bamboo alongside regular Bamboo. (feature can be disabled in Config)
    • Mangrove Roots are now rotatable to work the same as Muddy Mangrove Roots
    • Mud can now be removed from Muddy Mangrove Roots by right-clicking the block with a shovel
    • Mossy blocks can now be sheared by right-clicking the block with Shears (does not currently have support for other mods)
    • Lily Pads now properly rotate based on their placement direction, instead of being randomized

    New Features :

    • Added a new biome, the Eroded Bamboo Jungle, found sometimes alongside Bamboo Jungles
    • Added a new biome, the Geothermal Garden, found in Deepslate Caves
    • Added a new bamboo type, Red bamboo! Comes with a full blockset & is found in the Eroded Bamboo Jungle biome
    • Reworked Gourdrot, now known as the Pumpkin stem woodset! Bonemealing a pumpkin enough will now grow it into a Gourdrot "tree"
    • Added Gourdnuts, a weird mini pumpkin that can either be bonemealed into a Pumpkin, or cooked and eaten
    • Added the Tropical Frog variant, found in Mangrove Swamps, or can be grown in Jungle type biomes (comes with its own froglight)
    • Added the Budgett Frog variant, which can be grown in the End (comes with its own froglight)
    • Added Leaf Piles, a small decorative block with some nice particles! (can be destroyed by Wind Charges & other explosions)
    • Added Rust Moss, a new type of moss that spawns in the deepslate layer
    • Added Mud Lamps, a replacement for Mud Lanterns
    • Added Shuffled Bricks, a replacement for Mixed Bricks
    • Added Bushbuds, a new kind of flower with three different variants found in different parts of the world
    • Added Wisp Candles, a magical type of candle that needs Lapis to be lit (functionality not complete, will have healing properties later on)
    • Added Puffball Mushrooms, found in some forests, these can be a great source of food (almost the same as a steak) but you need to let some rot to get spores for replanting
    • Added Squashberry Jam & Bread, made from Gourdnuts
    • Added Dripstone Shingles with variants
    • Added Suspicious Red Sand

    General Changes :

    • Almost all assets have been completely redone from the ground up
    • Braziers are now called Stone Braziers
    • Blackstone Basalt Tiles are now called Blacksalt Tiles
    • Ash woodset has been renamed to Ashroot
    • Cave Soil is now called Cave Crud
    • Ashroot trees now properly generate underground
    • Stone type doors will now lock when powered by a redstone signal
    • Mushroom shelves have been merged with their regular counterparts, now working like coral fans
    • Calcite Bricks replaced by Calcite Tiles
    • Mossy Basalt now has an "overgrown" state when certain moss blocks are placed on top of it
    • Ashroot & Gourdrot tree shapes have been reworked (not finalized)
    • Changed the generation of Cherry Groves to add coarse dirt and more types of flowers (disabled with NML installed)

    Removed Features :

    • Cave Parsnips have been removed
    • Cave Farmland has been removed
    • Curved Mangrove Roots have been removed
    • Tall Cave Sprouts have been removed
    • Terracotta blocks & their variants have been removed
    • Silt has been removed
    • Screaming Pot has been removed
