  • Version 1.4.1 (26.1 Modded)

    release18 апреля 2026 г.

This update isn't really an "update" since it's just for fixing some stuff Minecraft 26.1 broke. Same stuff as v1.4, but with a new number!

The changelog is actually small enough to fit in this page, but you can still find it on the Wiki anyway.

    Changelog

    [1.4.1] - 2026-04-17

    Changed

    Misc

    • The rmf.daytime score is now tracked from players instead of non-player entities
    • The time_indicator function now tracks the rmf.daytime score from players rather than a non-player entity
      • This doesn't change anything or affect how it works, but it allows it to continue working since Minecraft 26.1 broke it between updates

    Removed

    • Removed the rmf.daytime non-player entity as it's now depreciated

If you somehow find any pesky bugs, let me know on the issue tracker!

  • Version 1.4.0 (1.21.11 Modded)

    release16 апреля 2026 г.

Hey hey people! Been a little while, huh?

This was meant to be a smaller version but I kept getting new ideas, so it's here now. I also had to check this on 3 different Minecraft versions (1.21.8, 1.21.10 and 1.21.11) which made this take longer.
Going forward, new updates will just be for one or two versions if possible.

This update adds Lemons, a new fruit you can find in Birch Trees! It also adds new starters like Peanut Butter (an ingredient for PB&J Sandwiches), and new uses for berries to name a few. Oh yeah, and a bunch of bug fixes.

Below is a snippet of the Changelog, but the full thing is available here on the Wiki like usual.

      • Drinking Lemon Juice applies a 4 second use cooldown on the item
    • Added Lemonade
      • Rather than a "lemon smoothie", players can now craft Lemonade
      • It is crafted in a Shaker Cup from Water, Sugar, and Lemon Juice

  • Version 1.4.0 (1.21.11)

    release16 апреля 2026 г.

  • Version 1.4.0 (1.21.8)

    release16 апреля 2026 г.

  • Version 1.3.0b (1.21.11 Modded)

    release11 января 2026 г.

    [1.3.0b] - 2026-01-08

Happy new year, everyone! Yes, yes, I know I'm late. About 6 months late, actually. But I've been busy! And with this second half of the v1.3 update, you will be too!
This update completely overhauls how the Mortar & Pestle, Shaker Cup, and the Gourmand's Digest work! It also adds a lot of food, some new items, and a few more advancements.
That being said, I'll likely be slowing down on such large updates for Reg's More Foods so I can focus on keeping the project updated at all. At the time of this being released, Minecraft has literally changed their version numbering system. That's how late I am.
Now then... please enjoy the FULL Reg's More Foods: Dimensional Dining update!

The 1.21.11 upload of v1.3.0b has some changes to the resource pack, specifically to deal with any breaking changes made in 1.21.11. No new items or features have been added.

        • Thankfully, peanut allergies don't exist in Minecraft.
    • Added Pale Berries (Suggested by ButterScotch)
      • These monochrome berries have been discovered in the odd Pale Garden, and they are surprisingly edible!
      • Eating one restores 2 Nutrition and 1 Saturation, however there's a 10% it might poison you
        • This makes it unusable to make into anything else as the poison would persist, but they're good for eating in a pinch or emergency
      • They're inspired by real life Belladonna berries (which ARE poisonous!), but thankfully Pale Berries are usually safe to eat. Usually.
      • Like the other berries, Pale Berries can be crafted from Gray Dye, Sweet Berries, and Bone Meal if players are unable to find a Pale Garden biome
    • Added Bars of Granola

    • Added Bowls of Spaghetti
      • Not much needs to be said about this dish, besides "it tastes great" and "is quite filling".
      • Bowls of Spaghetti restore 9 Nutrition and 10 Saturation when consumed, but take 2 seconds to eat (it's a lot of food!)
      • They can be crafted from Assorted Seasoning, Tomato Sauce, Pasta (obviously), any raw meat, and a Bowl
        • Before you ask "where's the meat in the bowl?", it's under the sauce

      • By combining Rotten Flesh and 2 Salt, you can cure it into a safe food
      • Monster Jerky restores 4 Nutrition and 3 Saturation when consumed and won't afflict you with hunger. Though you may want a glass of water after

      • Have a lot of nether wart and don't know what to do with it? Why not eat it?

      • Consuming it restores 6 Nutrition and 8 Saturation
    • Added Sushi Logs
      • I'll be honest. At some point in development, I added this item (I assume as a better version of Sushi?) and completely forgot to write it down. Then I found it again. So, here it is!
      • The proper name of this item would be Futomaki, but there's no international translation for it that I could find, and "Long Sushi Roll" was a silly name.
      • Sushi Logs restore 8 Nutrition and 7 Saturation when consumed
      • They're crafted just like Sushi, but use 3 extra Dried Kelp. Useful if you have a lot of kelp and just want the bonus food!
    • Added Wild Carrots and Wild Potatoes
      • When foraging with a Punnet, players can now find Wild Carrots or Wild Potatoes (provided they aren't in a desert biome)
      • These wild crops function just like their normal counterparts (they can be eaten, cooked, planted, or crafted with). This is to make it easier to obtain these ingredients instead of having to wait for zombie drops or finding villages
      • They are essencially found in any biome that has Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, or Blueberries
    • Added Baked Beans (thanks kianzozow!)
      • Using some (2) Taiga Beans, Assorted Seasoning, and a bowl of Mushroom Stew, you can make yourself a bowl of beans!

      • Similar to regular Tea, players can drink Iced Tea to keep themselves cool in hot environments
      • Iced Tea is crafted just like Tea, but with either Ice or Packed Ice added to the recipe
      • It gives a lower level of Haste than Tea does, but grants 1 minute (and 30 seconds) of Fire Resistance
    • Added Barrel of Radioactive Waste (Admin Item)
      • Someone asked for this.
      • Placing this item in an item frame will display it
      • It can be spawned in with the item id rmf:radioactive_waste via the rmf:_give_item function
      • Do not consume this

      • Another addition that should've been added ages ago, Mashed Potatoes are a simple but great meal that's easy to make (provided you have the ingredients)
      • It's crafted from 2 Potatoes, Assorted Seasoning, a Milk Bucket, and a Bowl
      • Eating it restores 9 Nutrition and 7 Saturation, making it a plain but effective food for any situation
    • Added Rice Cakes
      • Have a surplus of Rice Grains? Make some Rice Cakes!
      • These snacks restore 5 Nutrition and 6 Saturation when eaten
      • Crafting them only requires 3 Rice Grain, Assorted Seasoning, a Water Bucket, 2 Wheat, and 2 Eggs. This creates 3 Rice Cakes for sharing with whomever you please (or just yourself)
    • Added Omelettes
      • You know, I always thought these were kinda like an Egg Burrito or something. Anyways
      • Eating an Omelette will restore 8 Nutrition and 6 Saturation
      • They are made from frying a Bowl of Raw Omelette in the Frying Pan
    • Added Dragon Fruit
      • These strange fruits haven't been seen since the apperance of the Ender Dragon, but can be recreated using a rather odd ingredient.
      • By soaking a Chorus Fruit in Water, and adding Dragon's Breath to the mix, you can create some!
      • Consuming Dragon's Fruit restores 6 Nutrition and 4 Saturation, and can be stored in Item Crates
    • Added Dragon Fruit Juice
      • Juiced freshly from 2 Dragon Fruits, this drink restores 8 Nutrition and 6 Saturation
      • It supposedly has a bit of a tangy flavor?
    • Added Dragon Fruit Smoothies
      • Crafted just like all other smoothies, except that it uses Dragon Fruit Mash instead
      • Restores 7 Nutrition and 6 Saturation when consumed
    • Added Dragon Fruit Pie
      • This very fulling pie restores 12 Nutrition and 9 Saturation, but must be created inside the Mixing Bowl
      • It requires 3 Dragon Fruits, 2 Sugar, 1 Milk, and Pie Crust
    • Added Monster Jerky
      • What if you could cure Rotten Flesh to prevent hunger entirely? Well, now you can!
      • By combining Rotten Flesh and 2 Salt, you can cure it into a safe food
      • Monster Jerky restores 4 Nutrition and 3 Saturation when consumed and won't afflict you with hunger. Though you may want a glass of water after
    • Added Nether Wart Soup
      • Have a lot of nether wart and don't know what to do with it? Why not eat it?
      • Cooking (crafting) together 2 Nether Wart, a Brown or Red Mushroom, and a Bowl will create this interesting meal
      • It restores 4 Nutrition and 6 Saturation when consumed and grants Regeneration for 1 minute
        • It's handy to eat when you need passive healing but have to keep moving!
    • Added Miso Soup (thanks drunk_experiter!)
      • This dish is known by many, and is easy to make with searching a little for ingredients
      • It's crafted from Water, Kelp (or Lettuce), Seasoning, Tofu, and a Bowl
      • Baked Beans restore 6 Nutrition and 8 Saturation when consumed
      • To craft them, you'll first need to make some Unbaked Beans by using the above ingredients in a Mixing Bowl (in the same order shown) and then cook them in a Baking Pan
    • Added Sweet Berry Pie & Glow Berry Pie (suggested by a friend--thanks!)
      • From the creators of Apple Pie and Pies in general--a new kind of pie hits your kitchen!
      • Sweet Berry Pie and Glow Berry pie are crafted similarly. Either 3 of a respective berry, Sugar, Dough, and an Egg
      • They both restore 8 Nutrition and 7 Saturation when consumed, though Glow Berry Pie might make you shine a bit
    • Added Bowls of Curry
      • Want a spicy meal that doesn't shut down your organs like Spicy Mushroom Stew? Try Curry!
      • Curry is crafted like Fried Rice, but swap out the Carrot and Egg for Crimson and Warped Fungus
      • When consumed, it restores 7 Nutrition and 8 Saturation, then applies 20 seconds of Resistance and Hunger
    • Added Fruitcake
      • Just in time for the holiday season! This famous (or should I say infamous?) seasonal food makes its appearance in Reg's More Foods!
      • Fruitcake must first be made from baking Unbaked Fruitcake in a Baking Pan
      • When consumed, it restores 12 Nutrition and 10 Saturation but takes 2.4 seconds to consume and can only stack to 16
      • Fruitcake can be displayed in an Item Frame, and looks great on a dinner table!
    • Added Iced Tea

  • Version 1.3.0b (1.21.10 Modded)

    release10 января 2026 г.

Below is a snippet of the Changelog, but the full thing is available here on the Wiki like usual.

    Shortened Changelog

    Added

    Foods

24+ new foods have been added in this update:

    • Added Burned Marshmallow on a Sticks
      • These are the same as Roasted Marshmallow on a Sticks, but they're a little extra crunchy
      • They restore 3 Nutrition and 2 Saturation, but apart from that, they function identically to Roasted Marshmallow on a Sticks and can be used to make Marshmallow Sandwiches
      • To obtain them, roast a Marshmallow Stick over a Soul Campfire instead of a regular one
    • Added Peanuts
      • Peanuts are found in Bush blocks when Punnet Gathering, and are a light snack that can be eaten whenever
      • They restore 3 Nutrition and 2 Saturation when consumed, and are currently not used for anything else :c
      • This forest snack is all a lumberjack needs to start their day!
      • Crafted from 6 Wheat, 2 Seeds, and a Honey Bottle, you'll make 3 yummy Granola Bars

      • This forest snack is all a lumberjack needs to start their day!
      • Crafted from 6 Wheat, 2 Seeds, and a Honey Bottle, you'll make 3 yummy Granola Bars
    • Added Bowls of Mashed Potatoes (Suggested by Zeuseon)

  • Version 1.3.0b (1.21.8)

    release9 января 2026 г.

Below is a snippet of the Changelog, but the full thing is available here on the Wiki like usual.

  • Release 1.3.0a (1.21.8 Modded)

    release18 июля 2025 г.

    [1.3.0a] - 2025-06-27

A little late... but better late than never, right?
This update for Reg's More Foods adds quite a lot things! Now introducing new ways of obtaining fruits via the Punnet, a way to cook on the go with the Frying Pan, over 50 new foods and items, an overhaul of the Gourmand's Digest cookbook, and more!

This is actually the first half of the v1.3 update, which I wasn't able to fully complete due to time constraints. But expect v1.3b to come out... soon.

Below is a snippet of the Changelog, but the full thing is available here on the Wiki like usual.

    Shortened Changelog

    Added

    Foods

41 new foods have been added in this update:

    • Added Hard Boiled Eggs
    • Added Soft Boiled Eggs
      • These new eggs are cooked the same way Fried Eggs are! Cook a Brown Egg to Soft Boil it, or a Blue Egg to Hard Boil it
      • Hard Boiled Eggs restore 6 Hunger Points and 4 Saturation, and Soft Boiled Eggs restore 5 Hunger Points and 7 Saturation
        • Both the Brown Egg and Blue Egg can still be used in place of regular Eggs in all RMF recipes
    • Added Dumplings
      • This Chinese dish restores 6 Hunger Points and 8 Saturation, and goes great with Tomato Soup!
      • Dumplings are crafted with 6 Wheat, 1 Assorted Seasoning, 1 Milk Bucket, and either a raw meat or vegetable item
    • Added Corn Dogs
    • Added Veggie Corn Dogs
      • These Dogs-On-A-Stick are crafted from 1 Stick, any Cooked Meat, and 3 Wheat
        • Veggie Corn Dogs are the same recipe, but use Tofu instead of meat
      • When eaten, Corn Dogs restore 9 Hunger Points and 10 Saturation and Veggie Corn Dogs restore 7 Hunger Points and 8 Saturation--making them a smaller, cheaper version of a Hot Dog
    • Added Bowls of Tomato Soup
      • Coming in hot to replace Tomato Sauce, this item restores 7 Hunger Points and 6 Saturation
      • It's crafted from 2 Tomatoes, a Water Bucket, an Assorted Seasoning, and a Bowl
        • It goes great when consumed with Crackers, Dumplings, or Bread foods!
    • Added Bowls of Pumpkin Soup
      • Pumpkins haven't been used much, have they? Let's fix that!
      • This bowl of yum(?) restores 8 Hunger Points and 6 Saturation and is crafted from a Pumpkin, an Assorted Seasoning, a Bowl, and a Water Bucket
    • Added Stuffed Pumpkins
      • Like Stuffed Potatoes, this food is very hearty and simple to craft!
      • Using a Pumpkin, Rice, a Mushroom, and any 2 vegetables, this food restores 10 Hunger Points and 8 Saturation when consumed (but takes 3 seconds to do so)
    • Added Vibrant Apples
      • Strange, dark purple Apples have begun appearing in Dark Oak Trees, and even stranger... they taste like Grapes.
      • Vibrant Apples can be obtained by breaking Dark Oak Leaves while holding a Punnet in your offhand. They function identically to Apples (and can be used interchangably with them in crafting recipes)
        • Reg's More Foods has special recipes that specifically use this item, however
    • Added Pale Apples (Suggested By tto_kama)
      • For the folks who happen to live near a Pale Garden, check the tree's leaves closely... you may find a grayscaled Apple growing.
      • This Pale Apple (which tastes like Pineapples!) can be found in Pale Oak Trees when a Punnet is used, and acts exactly like Apples do in both crafting and eating
    • Added Oranges
      • Restores the same amount as an Apple, but it's both orange and an Orange!
      • Easily an "S" on the Fruit Tierlist everyone totally has
    • Added Maize
      • Next time you see some Tall Grass, break it with a Punnet in your offhand and grab some Maize (also known as Corn)!
      • Maize restores 4 Hunger Points and 2.4 Saturation when consumed (and is yummy)
      • Maize can be cooked in the Frying Pan, or grinded in a Mortar & Pestle
        • Fun fact: Minecraft Steve (John Minecraft) can canonically digest Corn, unlike humans!
    • Added Corn on the Cob
      • You thought Maize was good? Wait until you cook it on a pan!
      • Corn on the Cob (Cooked Corn) restores 6 Hunger Points and 4 Saturation, and is equally as delicious as Maize
    • Added Popped Corn
      • Frying Popcorn Seeds in a Frying Pan will now create yummy Popped Corn!
      • Consuming Popped Corn restores 2 Hunger and 1.5 Saturation, and it can be eaten quickly (1 second per item)
      • Using a Popcorn Bag while holding Popped Corn in the offhand will do one of 3 things:
        • If the player is holding exactly 3 Popped Corn in the offhand, a Small Bag of Popcorn is crafted
        • If the player is holding exactly 6 Popped Corn in the offhand, a Medium Bag of Popcorn is crafted
        • If the player is holding exactly 9 Popped Corn in the offhand, a Large Bag of Popcorn is crafted
    • Added Small Bags of Popcorn
    • Added Medium Bags of Popcorn
    • Added Large Bags of Popcorn
      • Bags of Popcorn are created from holding a specific amount of Popped Corn in the offhand when using a Popcorn Bag in the mainhand
      • It comes in Small, Medium, and Large sizes which give their own food values when consumed
        • Small Bags of Popcorn restore 6 Hunger Points and 3.6 Saturation
        • Medium Bags of Popcorn restore 12 Hunger Points and 9 Saturation, and takes 2 seconds
        • Large Bags of Popcorn restore 18 Hunger Points and 13.5 Saturation, and takes 3 seconds to consume
    • Added Peach Juice
    • Added Mango Juice
    • Added Banana Juice
    • Added Melon Juice
    • Added Grape Juice (Suggested By SugarBumpz)
    • Added Orange Juice
    • Added Pineapple Juice
    • Added Cactus Fruit Juice
      • All Juice items are crafted from the Juicer, and can be consumed at any time
      • Their food values vary, so check the Gourmand's Digest for specific items (or the wiki page)
    • Added Raw Pufferfish Tails
      • In real life, Blowfish can be safely eaten by cooking their tails. In Minecraft, all we have are Pufferfish so that will have to do
      • Putting a Pufferfish in a Stonecutter will craft Raw Pufferfish Tails which can fried in the Frying Pan to make Cooked Pufferfish Tails
      • Consuming a Raw Pufferfish Tail will restore 2 Hunger Points and 0.4 Saturation, with a 30% chance of giving Hunger for 30 seconds
        • In real life, Pufferfish cannot be easily prepared like this. Please do not try to cook Pufferfish unless you are a trained professional (and don't eat them raw!)
    • Added Cooked Pufferfish Tails
      • By cooking a Raw Pufferfish Tail on a Frying Pan, players can create this crunchy meal
      • Cooked Pufferfish Tails restore 5 Hunger Points and 6 Saturation
      • Probably goes great with sauce!
    • Added Spicy Mushroom Stew
      • Why should Red and Brown Mushrooms get all the fun? Now, players can can craft Mushroom Stew with Crimson and Warped Fungus!
      • Spicy Mushroom Stew functions identically to regular Mushroom Stew in terms of crafting usage and food values
      • Unlike Mushroom Stew, it cannot be consumed at any time and takes 2 seconds to consume
      • Due to the very hot climate of the Nether, the Nether Fungus items cause the following effects when mixed into a stew:
        • Resistance 2 for 20 Seconds
        • Hunger 2 for 10 Seconds
      • It's best to use this item in situations where the player is about to receive a lot of damage and only needs to worry about surviving the encounter
    • Added Blazing Stew (Suggest By Caniputmyballazin)
      • This somehow spicier mixture of mushrooms and Blaze Powder is, predictably, made from Crimson and Warped Fungus and Blaze Powder
      • The food is the same as Spicy Mushroom Stew in all areas but one--it grants 30 seconds of Fire Resistance. If you happen have some extra Blaze powder lying around, it's helpful to spring for crafting a Blazing Stew when heading to a Nether Fortress (or the Nether in general)
    • Added Cooked Ham
      • Cooking Bone-In Ham in a Frying Pan will now create Cooked Ham, a very juicy chunk of porkchop on a bone
      • It restores 9 Hunger Points and 13 Saturation, but takes 2.2 seconds to consume
      • It also looks exactly like something Fred Flintstone would eat on his lunch break
    • Added Bacon (Suggested By Lo_zzie)
    • Added Cooked Bacon (Suggested By Lo_zzie)
      • This one was a long time coming--Bacon can be obtained by using Porkchops in a Stonecutter!
      • 1 Porkchop creates 2 Raw Bacon, which restore 2 Hunger Points and 1.4 Saturation (with a 30% chance to inflict Hunger for 30 seconds)
      • Cooking Raw Bacon on a Frying Pan will create Cooked Bacon, a much better food which restores 7 Hunger Points and 11 Saturation
    • Added Cottage Cheese
      • If you're unable to obtain Cheese for any particular reason, there is another way of obtaining it--crafting Cottage Cheese instead!
      • Cottage Cheese is crafted from 2 Bottles of Vinegar, 1 Assorted Seasoning, 3 Milk Buckets, and Yellow Dye (food coloring).
      • It functions the exact same way as regular Cheese, making it an alternative way of getting the ingredient if Sponges and Ocean Monuments are off the table (or you can eat it if you'd like)
        • As a trade off, Cottage Cheese does not comfortably fit inside of Item Crates and cannot be placed into one
    • Added Nacho Chips
      • Nachos. Simple enough to understand, yeah?
      • Nacho Chips are crafted from 4 Wheat, 1 Vegetable Oil, and 1 Assorted Seasoning. It restores 5 Hunger Points and Saturation, but can be eaten at any time
      • Despite giving less immediate total healing from either Plain Donuts or Muffins, it can be eaten while at full hunger, allowing for healing at any time
    • Added Chocolate Covered Pretzels
      • Adding Cocoa Beans to a Pretzel recipe covers them in chocolate. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
      • This does not change any of the items values, and the item itself is still a Pretzel--it just visually is covered in chocolate
    • Added Chicken Wings
    • Added Cooked Chicken Wings
      • Chicken Wings can be obtained by using either Chicken or Cooked Chicken in a Stonecutter, crafting 2 of the respective item
      • Chicken Wings (raw) restore 1 Hunger Point and Saturation, and have a 30% chance to inflict Hunger for 30 seconds
      • Cooked Chicken Wings restore 4 Hunger Points and 5 Saturation, and can be eaten at any time
    • Added Pizza Pouches
      • Players who enjoy Pizza Pockets will want to welcome its Legally Distinct cousin to Reg's More Foods!
      • Pizza Pouches restore 7 Hunger Points and Saturation when eaten, and are crafted from 6 Wheat, 1 Cheese, 1 Cooked Meat item, and a Tomato (and you get 2!)
    • Added Lettuce Leafs
      • A new cruncy ingredient, Lettuce Leafs are created from cutting any Leaves block in a Stonecutter
      • It can be eaten to restore 2 Hunger Points and 0.3 Saturation. It takes 1.2 seconds to eat, and can be eaten whenever
      • Its main usage is as a crafting ingredient for recipes like Salad, Burgers, and some Soups (and soon to be sandwiches)
        • Being a vegetable, it can also be used in recipes which require one
    • Added Sushi Rolls
      • This one was a long time coming. Originally the "Sea Snack", I finally updated the texture to just be Sushi. It made more sense.
      • Sushi restores 6 Hunger Points and 5 Saturation
      • To craft it, all you need is 3 Dried Kelp, 1 Cod or Salmon (can be cooked), 1 Rice Grain, and either a Carrot, Mushroom, or Lettuce
    • Added Oat Milk Buckets
      • Another version of Milk for those who can't drink it (or don't have cows nearby), Oat Milk is crafted from 3 Wheat, Water, Paper, Vegetable Oil, 2 Assorted Seasoning, and a Bucket
      • Just like the other Milk items, this will clear all effects from the player when consumed, and can be used in crafting recipes that require Milk
    • Added Double Glazed Apple Fritters (Admin Item)
      • If you know, you know. This item does exactly what you think it does
      • It has a ~66% chance to send the player to the Shadow Realm. Whether they return from this alive is up to their skills
      • This item's id is rmf:double_glazed_fritter when used in the give_item function
    • Added a Legendary Food as a reward for "beating" Reg's More Foods
      • Legend has it, this food is only owned by the Greatest Chef to ever cook, and is their prized possession
      • Anyone who can prove themselves to The Great Chef may have the chance of recieving this food, whatever it may be
      • The food itself is speculated to be infinitely edible, regenerating itself instantly whenever eaten

    Items

15+ new items have been added in this update:

    • Added Frying Pans
      • Frying Pans are a new tool that can be used to craft on the go, as long as one has a heat source to cook off of (a list of valid heat sources can be found on the wiki page)
        • The Frying Pan shares its list of valid heat sources with the Marshmallow on a Stick! If you can cook the Marshmallow on a Stick on the heat source, you can cook with a Frying Pan on it too
        • There is a way to cook an item without requiring a direct heat source... and an advancement to go along with discovering it!
      • To cook an ingredient, stand in front of a heat source. Hold the Frying Pan in the mainhand and the ingredient in the offhand, then hold the use key to begin cooking! Items will be cooked after 5 seconds (as fast as a Smoker)
      • Frying Pans have 200 durability and come with natural Knockback 1--but they use twice the durability when used to attack mobs. They are crafted with 4 Iron Ingots and 1 Leather
        • A sound effect is played each time the item is used to attack something... with a small chance of a secret "funny" sound playing instead
        • A secret, shiner Frying Pan exists... if you can figure out the recipe
          • The only hint is that this secret Frying Pan has the same durability as a regular one, despite what it's made out of
    • Added Punnets
      • Trees will no longer bear fruit naturally from Leaves, and neither will Short Grass/Ferns drop berries when broken--instead, players must hold a Punnet in their offhand while breaking these blocks to activate the drop chances
        • The drop chances themselves haven't been changed, players just need to have the Punnet to get them
      • The item is crafted from 7 Sticks, and ONLY works if the the player breaks the blocks with an empty hand
      • Players can put this item on their heads, if they need an improvised helmet in an emergency
      • Players can also use Item Frames to place Punnets down
    • Added Juicers
      • The Juicer is an item which can juice fruits into... well, juice!
      • The Juicer is crafted from 4 Stone (or Stone variants, like Granite or Blackstone) and 1 Bowl
      • The player must have at least 2 of a valid fruit ingredient in their offhand, and at least 1 Glass Bottle in their inventory, before using the Juicer
        • The Juicer cannot create juice out of every item. If the item in the offhand is "unjuicable", the Juicer will inform the player
    • Added Chef's Aprons
      • Like the Chef's Hat, the Chef's Apron doesn't do anything and is a purely cosmetic item
      • It can equipped on the Leg armor slot
        • Also like the Chef's Hat, it can technically be equipped to other entities like Armor Stands and Zombies (via Dispenser)
      • They are crafted from 6 Wool and 2 String--pretty cheap to keep your clothes clean
    • Added Bottles of Apple Cider Vinegar
      • This totally pleasant-smelling liquid is the key ingredient in crafting Cottage Cheese!
      • To craft it, add Water, 2 Apple Mash, and Sugar inside a Shaker Cup (pours into Glass Bottle)
        • Unlike Vegetable Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar is not edible and is used strictly as an ingredient in Reg's More Foods. Please do not drink Vinegar or Apple Cider Vinegar in real life.
    • Added Wooden Shears
      • Wooden Shears are crafted from just 2 Wooden Planks in a diagonal pattern
      • They are specifically used for mining Leaves blocks instantly, but don't drop the blocks themselves. Unlike Shears, they can't be used on certain blocks to make them drop themselves. They're only used for mining tree leaves
      • Players can use Wooden Shears while holding a Punnet in their offhand to make gathering fruits much easier!
        • Wooden Shears have 100 durability, so players may want to make 2 or 3 of them to get through multiple trees at a time
        • If you want to, you can enchant Wooden Shears with Unbreaking or Mending (enchanting it with anything else does nothing)--but why would you enchant it at all?
    • Added Item Crates
      • Item Crates are a solution for storing large amounts of ingredients that otherwise can't be stored as easily as items like Wheat (which can be compressed into Hay Bales) or Honeycomb (which can be compressed into Honeycomb Blocks)
      • 3 Empty Item Crates are crafted from 4 Sticks and 4 Wooden Planks. To store ingredients in them, hold 9 of that ingredient in your offhand and "use" the Empty Item Crate to store the ingredient inside.
      • Item Crates with ingredients can be "used" to open them back up, giving the player back the 9 of the item stored per crate. So, players can store 576 of an ingredient (9 Stacks) in a single stack of 64 Item Crates!
      • Most raw food ingredients can be placed in the Item Crate, including some Reg's More Foods ingredients
        • Cooked foods, golden variants of foods, foods that are considered "processed", and some ingredients which can already be compressed into blocks (examples being Cooked Beef, Golden Carrots, Mushroom Stew, and Wheat respectively) cannot be placed in an Item Crate. Item Crates are simply meant to store large amounts of raw ingredients that the player would otherwise need a large storage space to keep in constant stock due to a lack of vanilla alternatives
        • Seeds, however, can be stored in Item Crates to make managing farm resources easier. So, Crates of Wheat Seeds, Melon Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, and Tomato Seeds can be made
      • Item Crates can also stack up to 99 Crates in a single slot, making mass storage of the Item Crates themselves easy when combined with Bundles
      • Unfortunately, ingredients cannot be placed into Item Crates via automation (like Hoppers or Crafters) at this time. But this may change in the future if I find a way to make this happen!
    • Added Mortar and Pestle Variants
      • The Mortar and Pestle can now be crafted using 3 Wooden Planks along with Stone, or 3 Bricks (item)!
        • Stone is still required in the recipe, but adding 3 planks of a wood type will change the texture to reflect the wood used
        • The item still works as normal, the variant change is purely visual
    • Added Popcorn Seeds
      • By grinding down Maize in a Mortar & Pestle, players can obtain Popcorn Seeds.
      • Popcorn Seeds, understandably, are a necessary ingredient in crafting Popped Corn
      • Despite the name implying so, Popcorn Seeds cannot be planted to grow Popcorn or Maize (but maybe in the future?)
      • For easier storage, Popcorn Seeds can be crated using an Item Crate
    • Added Popcorn Bags
      • Popcorn Bags can now be crafted from 5 Paper in a V pattern
      • On their own, Popcorn Bags do nothing. However, they can be used while holding a specific amount of Popped Corn in the offhand to craft Bags of Popcorn
      • Popcorn Bags can also be crated in Item Crates for mass storage, perfect for players who enjoy a bit of roleplay
    • Added Bone-In Ham
      • Killing a Hoglin with a Cleaver now has a 60% chance of dropping a Bone-In Ham, a specialty Hoglin meat
      • Bone-In Ham can't be eaten raw, but it does make an interesting weapon that deals 4 attack damage per swing
      • Cooking it in a Frying Pan will turn it into Cooked Ham, which can be eaten (but not usable as a weapon)
      • Bone-In Ham can also be stored in an Item Crate for easier storage
    • Added Cooking Pots
      • Cooking Pots are (currently) decorative items that can be placed in Item Frames. They look great in kitchens!
      • They're crafting from 2 Leather, 1 Cauldron, and 1 Smooth Stone Slab
        • This item has an Anvil Interaction: renaming it to "Pot of Water" will fill the Cooking Pot with water. Naming it anything else/removing the name will empty it
    • Added Dough
      • A long-awaited addition, Dough can be:
        • Used instead of Wheat to craft Cake, or any Reg's More Foods item which uses Wheat (excluding Buckets of Popcorn and Chocolate Pretzels)
        • Mixed with a cookie ingredient like Cocoa Beans or Berries to craft its respective Cookie Dough, which can be cooked in a Frying Pan
        • Cooked directly in a Furnace, Smoker, or Frying pan to bake Bread
        • Cut in a Stonecutter to make Pasta, or a variety of "dough-shaped" foods which can be cooked in a Frying Pan
      • Dough is crafted from 2 Wheat and 1 Water Bucket, making it very cheap to make when wanting to craft a lot of a food that would have otherwise cost a lot of Wheat to make
    • Added Newsletters
      • Newsletters will spawn in player's inventories when a new RMF version is loaded, and function as a book version of the "What's New" message
      • Each Newsletter item will have a link to the changelog of the version it is meant for, for players to see a full list of changes made
      • Newsletters will otherwise not appear at any point of the game, are not required for anything in Reg's More Foods, and have no other functions
        • This change was made to reduce the amount of "chat spam" that happens upon loading a new Reg's More Foods version. Players can keep Newsletters if they really want to, or get rid of them as soon as they are done reading them
    • Added a new chef outfit as a reward for "beating" Reg's More Foods
      • This new outfit is only granted to players who prove themselves as true Gourmands by eating and drinking every item in the datapack
      • It's also reportedly "very very cool" and "totally worth the trouble"
    • Added Menus
      • Menus are a special type of writable book that players can craft for their restaurants, if they have one
      • It is crafted from 2 Gold Nuggets, 1 Leather, a Book, and 2 Black Dye
      • It is purely a cosmetic/roleplay item, and otherwise does nothing else than act like a Book & Quill
        • When "signed", the Menu retains its model but the name is replaced with whatever the player writes, just like a Book & Quill

    Advancements

21 new advancements have been added in this update:

    • "Savoring The World" for obtaining a Frying Pan
    • "Hell's Kitchen" for frying an item in the Frying Pan in the Nether
    • "Kitchen Essentials" for obtaining either a Mortar and Pestle, Shaker Cup, Chef's Hat, Cleaver, or Frying Pan item(s) (Silent Advancement)
    • "Freshly Gathered Produce" for crafting a Punnet
    • "What's Carbon Monoxide Poisoning?" for smelting Charcoal into Gunpowder
    • "Amazingly Corny" for obtaining Maize from Tall Grass while using a Punnet in the offhand
    • "On-The-Go Refreshments" for crafting a Juicer
    • "Isn't That Crate?" for crafting and using an Item Crate to store an ingredient
    • "Technically Placeable!" for putting an Item Crate in an Item Frame to display in in-world
    • "Dangerously Crateive" for putting an Item Crate in an Item Crate (Hidden Advancement)
    • "Inequivalent Exchange" for duplicating Bones by grinding them in a Mortar and Pestle before crafting them into Bone Blocks, and then cutting them back into Bones
    • "Beating A Dead Hoglin" for killing a Hoglin with a Bone-In Ham
    • "The Butcher's Knife" for obtaining a Cleaver
    • "D'ough!" for crafting Dough (lol)
    • "'DIY' Cheese" for obtaining Cottage Cheese
    • "Vitamin Orange" for finding Oranges in an Oak Tree
    • "A Pineapple Apple?" for finding Pale Apples in a Pale Oak Tree
    • "Not Quite a Grape Fruit" for finding Vibrant Apples in a Dark Oak Tree
    • "The Cake Is A...!" for cutting a Cake in a Stonecutter when it only has 1 bite left
    • "Death From Above" for wearing a Cooking Pot, holding a Mace in the mainhand, and holding a Wind Charge in the offhand
    • "Tonight's Special Is..." for crafting a Menu

    Recipes

    • Added a recipe for Rotten Tomatoes
      • Rotten Tomatoes can now be crafted from a Tomato, either 2 Rotten Flesh or Spider Eyes, and a Bottle of Vinegar
    • Added a new recipe for the Furnace, Smoker, and Blast Furnace to activate themselves as if they were cooking an item
      • Since the Frying Pan requires a heat source, any of these 3 blocks can be "activated" without cooking anything by putting Charcoal in their input slots
      • Charcoal will take 2 minutes to "cook", using up fuel in the process so the Frying Pan can be used
        • However, letting the Charcoal fully cook will turn it into Gunpowder
        • This can be avoided entirely by removing the Charcoal, letting the fuel use up
    • Added a new Stonecutting recipe for turning 1 Bone Block into 2 Bones
    • Added a new "info" Stonecutting recipe for Bones
    • Added a recipe for crafting Cake from Dough
    • Added "info" Stonecutting recipes that were missing from past updates

    release18 июля 2025 г.

    • Added Stuffed Pumpkins
      • Like Stuffed Potatoes, this food is very hearty and simple to craft!

    • Added "info" Stonecutting recipes that were missing from past updates

    release4 июля 2025 г.

        • Both the Brown Egg and Blue Egg can still be used in place of regular Eggs in all RMF recipes
    • Added Dumplings

      • Dumplings are crafted with 6 Wheat, 1 Assorted Seasoning, 1 Milk Bucket, and either a raw meat or vegetable item
    • Added Corn Dogs
    • Added Veggie Corn Dogs
      • These Dogs-On-A-Stick are crafted from 1 Stick, any Cooked Meat, and 3 Wheat

    • Added "info" Stonecutting recipes that were missing from past updates

    release4 июля 2025 г.
