Adds over 900 new advancements to your Minecraft world
- Updated for 26.2 Release Candidate 2 use.
- “Jockey Jamboree” is now hidden - this decision was made after running a community poll. It has also been moved back to the Monsters tab, in-between “Absolute Cinema” and “The Wicked Witch of the West”.
- Added Music Disc Bounce to “Disc Jockey”.
- Added Sulfur Spikes to “Bottom to Top”.
- Added Sulfur Cubes to “Follow the Leader”.
- Fire Charges can now be used to complete “Gas Bomb” as an alternative to Flint and Steel.
- “My work here is done” no longer triggers if the player is riding a boat or minecart, fixing a bug where it’s possible to obtain by simply riding one of these on top of a block of gravel.
- Fixed “Feeling Ill”’s components not triggering.
- Fixed “Diagon Allay” not having a custom potion colour in its advancement icon.
- Fixed “Advancement Legend”’s reward message and title not displaying upon completion no matter the settings.
- “Just Keeps Going” no longer counts upward if the player is in spectator mode (now matching with “Castaway”).
- Renamed the trophy “Stink Bomb” to “The Stink Bomb” in order to prevent a name clash in translation.
- Added the trigger command to the description of new advancements that have them now.
- Updated for 26.2 Pre-release 2 use.
- Fully integrated every new advancement in this update – they now have all of their functions implemented, count towards the advancement scoreboards, work in Cooperative Mode, and are now required for milestones.
- Added item and experience rewards for many of the new advancements.
- Added trophies to the following advancements: “All the Balls!”, “Cinnabar Island”, “The Undead Cavalry”, “The Wicked Witch of the West”, “Toasted Marshmallow”, “Impiled”, “Lord Helix”, “Taking the Scenic Route”, “Jockey Jamboree”.
- Added all of the new blocks and items to “All the Blocks!”, “Stack all the Blocks!”, “All the Items!”, “Stack all the Items!”
- Added Sulfur Spikes to “The smell of rotten eggs”.
- “Toasted Marshmallow” now requires using a Spear that has been enchanted with Fire Aspect. Updated its description to reflect this.
- Fixed “An Apple a Day” being cheeseable by putting apples in Decorated Pots.
- Removed Sulfur Caves from “Adventuring Time”, as that advancement is not meant to be for cave biomes.
- Fixed “Mob Kabob”’s completion message still using vanilla translation strings.
- Fixed “Seafood Skewer”’s completion message still having its old title “Spear Fishing” when moused over in chat.
- Fixed the completion messages of “Desert Rider”, “Overkill”, “Over-overkill”, “Subspace Bubble”, “The Devil’s Distance” and “Death From All” still having their old descriptions when moused over in chat.
- Added an item reward of 64 Tuff to “Tuff Stuff”.
- “Horse Training” now awards Copper Horse Armor instead of Iron Horse Armor; “Sheriff Firearm” now awards Iron Horse Armor instead of Golden Horse Armor, and “Scourge of the West” now awards Golden Horse Armor instead of a Saddle.
- Reduced the experience reward of “Shovel Knight” from 100 to 50 so it matches “Axeman”.
- Swapped the names of the advancements “Overpopulation” and “Two by Two” around, so that “Two by Two” can be the name of the same advancement as vanilla. Their trophies have also swapped, but their item and experience rewards have not.
- Changed the description of “Ride or Dry” to describe the projectile as a ‘piercing arrow’ as opposed to a ‘crossbow shot’.
- Fixed the fourth line of “Riddle Me This” not being up-to-date when mousing over its completion message.
- “Bouncy Beats” is now a goal instead of a task.
- Added a new trigger ‘bac_progress’ which includes the non-statistic entries from the bac_statistics trigger.
- All entries in the bac_progress now use the name of the advancement instead of what is done to progress on that advancement. They also display the target number to reach (e.g. Certified Spud Chomper: 42/100).
- Added “Vault Hunter”, “Copper Golem Overlord”, “Counting Sheep”, “Le creak, c’est chic” and “Overwarden” to the bac_progress trigger.
- Updated for 26.2 Snapshot 8 use.
- Added two trigger commands that tells you if you are currently in the running for “Dragon vs. Dragon”, “Dragon vs. Dragon II: Electric Boogaloo”, “Dragon vs Wither: The Pre-Sequel” and “The Perfect Run”. They are triggered with ‘bac_dragon’ and ‘bac_perfect_run’ respectively.
- Unlike other trigger commands, these commands are not triggerable until you have obtained the Super Challenges root.
- Added numerical counts for “Certified Spud Chomper”, “WHERE’S THE HONEY LEBOWSKI?”, “Pupil Poppers” and the tenth line of “Riddle Me This” to the bac_statistics trigger command.
- These counts (as well as the one for “A Piglin’s Best Friend”) will no longer display once you have obtained the advancement connected to it.
- Added an additional line to the bac_timers trigger that says that 1200 seconds = 1 Minecraft day.
- “The Aquatic Hunter” and “Poseidon vs. Hades” can now have their components checked off by attacking with a trident’s melee strike as an alternative to throwing it.
- Updated the description of “Desert Rider” to no longer mention finding a Camel in a desert village since they can now spawn anywhere in deserts.
- Updated the descriptions of “Overkill” and “Over-overkill” to now mention that spear charge attacks are also excluded.
- Updated the descriptions of “Subspace Bubble” and “The Devil’s Distance” to include the words ‘at least’.
- Updated the description of “Death From All” in non-hardcore mode to remove the message that says “ignore in hardcore mode”.
- Moved several blazeandcave/function files to sub-folders in order to clean up that directory. Some examples are listed below. Other functions with a similar name were moved and renamed in the same way.

- Functions related to these advancements were moved to directory advancement/: “A Wizard’s Breakfast”, “Event Horizon”, “Captain America”, “Dimension Penetration”, “Dragon vs Dragon II: Electric Boogaloo”, “Dragon vs Wither: The Pre-Sequel”, “Castaway”, “Just Keeps Going”, “Half Heart Life”, “Loser!”, “The Perfect Run”, “Free Diver”, “Sleep with the Fishes”, “Unwanted Passenger”.
- The ‘riddle’ and ‘statistics’ folders are also now contained within the ‘advancement’ sub-folder
- Moved several predicate files to new sub-folders in order to clean up that directory, which include:
- ‘sit’ predicates -> A new folder labelled ‘vehicle’. For example, camel_husk_sit -> vehicle/camel_husk
- ‘wear’ predicates (including horse_wear and nautilus_wear) -> A new folder labelled ‘equipment’. For example, wear_dragon_head -> equipment/dragon_head and horse_wear_copper -> equipment/copper_horse_armor
- ‘variant’ predicates -> A new folder labelled ‘entity_variant’, which then has its own sub-folders for each entity type. For example, chicken_variant_cold -> entity_variant/chicken/cold
- Removed the zombified_piglin_passenger predicate, as the new predicate introduced in an earlier alpha build jockeys/strider accomplishes the same thing.
- Updated for 26.2 Snapshot 7 use.
- Added the following advancements: “Bouncy Beats”.
- Fixed “The Whole Pack” awarding the amount of points that task advancements award when it’s actually a challenge.
- Fixed “At the Rim of the Sky” awarding the amount of points that challenge advancements award when it’s actually a super challenge.
- Fixed the root advancements not having a macro command.
- All root advancements now have a msg function that contains their message ‘You have now unlocked the root of the
tab.’ - Added hidden advancements to the Advancement Completion Message Settings.
- Fixed hidden advancements counting towards the count scoreboards (bac_advancements and bac_advancements_team).
- Updated the Advancement Legend title text to be translatable.
- The tenth line of “Riddle Me This” now uses a dummy scoreboard instead of a statistical scoreboard, fixing issues where doing the deed would increase it by 2 instead of 1, and another issue where putting the item in a Decorated Pot would increment the score.
- “Eeuuwww!” now comes after “This is Mine Now!”
- “Gold Mine!” now comes after “Steals on Wheels”.
- Shifted the update_score commands from bacap_rewards to blazeandcave:config/ so they can be next to the coop_update function. The functions bacap_rewards:update score and blazeandcave:update_score still work as they point to blazeandcave:config/update_score.
- Added the update_points function that updates advancement points. It is run whenever the update_score function is run. (Note: It still has not been updated with the advancements new to this update, as usual that will come with the first beta build).
- Updated for 26.2 Snapshot 6 use.
- Added the following advancements: “Stink Bomb”, “Classic Cartoon Comedy”.
- Integrated the vanilla advancement “Uh oh”.
- Added the Explosive, Hot and Slow Bouncy archetypes to “All the Balls!”
- “Punching Bag” and “All the Balls!” now specifically only work on adult Sulfur Cubes.
- Added Sulfur Cubes to “Death From All”.
- Moved “Jockey Jamboree” to the Super Challenges tab. It comes after “I am Loot!” and before “The World Is Ending”.
- “The Wicked Witch of the West” now comes after “Absolute Cinema”.

- Converted all reward function files to macros in order to condense their size.
- Renamed the Advancements Scoreboards to “Advancement Count” (note: The menu itself is still named “Advancements Scoreboard”).
- Added a new Advancement Score which contains a ‘points total’ of every achieved advancement summed together, where Tasks = 1 point, Goals = 2 points, Challenges = 5 points, Super Challenges = 20 points and Milestones = 50 points. There is both an ordinary Advancement Score and Team Advancement Score option that can be selected.
- These values can be adjusted in a new menu “Change Advancement Point Values”.

- Fixed “Fountain of Youth” requiring using a Golden Dandelion on a baby frog, which don’t exist (only tadpoles do).
- Fixed “Thanks a lotl” not keeping track of whether the player is also in a Monument (previously only the Axolotl was needed to be in a Monument).
- Fixed “Called Shot” not keeping track of whether the player was actually struck by lightning.
- The “Gas!”, “This one’s mine!” and “Dimension Penetration” advancements now use the entity_tags entity sub-predicate in their conditions.

Originally they were going to come with this drop, but the only substantial feature it added was the Golden Dandelion sooo… next drop had better deliver!

Reworked “Sly Copper: The Copper Heist” so that it no longer includes every kind of copper block that can oxidize. It now only requires the oxidizing and waxed variants of Copper Blocks, Chiseled Copper, and Cut Copper Blocks, Slabs and Stairs. Updated its description to reflect this.

Reworked “The Statue of Liberty” so that it now requires obtaining an Oxidized Copper Golem Statue. In its previous state, where it just required obtaining any kind of oxidized copper block, it was way too easy to obtain upon finding a Trial Chamber, and this new requirement fits much better thematically. Updated its description to reflect this.

All item tags in the #minecraft: subspace have been moved to the #blazeandcave: subspace, except for #minecraft:shulker_boxes which was already in vanilla and hence removed.

The item tag #minecraft:nether_stems was not used anywhere, so it was removed, and #minecraft:nether_fungus and #minecraft:nether_roots were only used in one advancement each, so they were also removed and those advancements had their internal code changed.
