UltraVanilla

UltraVanilla is a small-scale community Minecraft survival server with minimal enhancements to the core game. 30 player slots is a sweetspot for a server that is not crowded or discouraging production. Community Projects are suggested and discussed on the Discord, anyone is free to contribute! The server usually updates fast, and is currently running on 1.21.11.

UltraVanilla was founded in January 2019 with the same world it has today. There are plenty of cities to explore!

The suggested modpack (Additive) is not required, but it helps optimize the game.

Rules:

❤️ 1. No griefing

Respect all builds. Please do not build or harvest resources closer than 150 blocks from other builds, unless you have asked the original builder for permission. Lone crafting tables, furnaces, portals, random scaffolding, 2x1 tunnels, and netherite bed mining tunnels are the only exceptions to this rule — but ask staff to check an area if you are ever unsure. You may leave signs to comment on builds you come across, but they must be friendly signs and not be excessive.

🧡 2. No stealing

All abandoned chests are off limit. If you are lacking supplies, we have a free items warehouse for new players, as well as player-run shops where you can buy items.

💛 3. No spam or flooding

Please do not send repetitive messages or excessively use all caps or fixed-width characters. This makes it harder to read chat. Additionally, do not excessively promote projects you benefit financially from if you don't already have good standing in the community. As a general rule, you should post 80% other people's links before posting 20% your own links.

💚 4. No non-consentual PVP

Do not fight other players unless you have agreed to do so. Be careful as some players may choose to disable keepInventory. If someone is AFK and causing lag, you don't have to kill them! We can teleport them to spawn.

🩵 5. No alt accounts used for gameplay benefit

Please only use one account at a time, and do not use alt accounts for accessing multiple locations. If you need to transfer your items and achievements, ask staff. Do not use alts to evade bans.

💙 6. No exploits

Most duping exploits and other game-breaking phenomenon are not allowed. Aesthetic exploits such as cursed nether portals are generally fine. Primed TNT duping is allowed, but the server is configured to automatically remove nearby diamonds, ancient debris, and spawners when TNT duping is detected. Do not intentionally DoS the server or use lag exploits.

💜 7. No hacking

You may use some client-side tools, but most cheat tools such as fly hacking or xraying are not allowed. The Rules page of the wiki has a detailed list of what we allow.

🩷 8. No graphic or gross NSFW

Do not discuss sexual topics or post suggestive or disturbing imagery. This includes map art and builds.

❤️ 9. No bullying or harassment

Be polite and respectful towards others, and respect boundaries. We are all friends here.

🧡 10. No bigotry or hate speech

Bigotry of any form will result in a quick ban. This includes homophobia, transphobia, racism, misogyny, antisemitism, islamophobia, and ableism. Avoid prejudice. Respect those not in the room, because they could be in the room. We are ✨ and trans-friendly, bigots will be vaporized.

💚 11. Listen to staff warnings

Staff have final say. If you have been warned to stop doing something and disagree with it, you should take it to modmail. If a topic has become impossible to discuss respectfully, we may opt to ban that topic entirely.
