DWARVES VERSUS ZOMBIES REIMAGINED

Retro DvZ is dedicated to recreating and building upon the experience of classic Dwarves versus Zombies in modern Minecraft, inspired by the legendary 2012 videos by PauseUnpause and Etho (no affiliation with either). People who have played Dwarfscraft, Rawtech, or UberMC will be very familiar with this version of DvZ.

What is our Gamemode?

Retro DvZ is an asymmetric attrition PvP, roleplay, and survival game mode.
Dwarves must gather resources and construct a defendable keep to house their Shrine. At the end of the build phase, some dwarves are selected to become monsters. These monsters must then attack dwarves and destroy the Shrine.
While dwarves are very powerful, they only have one life. Monsters on the other hand can respawn infinitely despite their relative weakness.
The goal of the dwarves is to last as long as possible. The game ends when all dwarves are killed or when the Shrine is taken down by the monsters.

When do games happen?

This server is event-based and is not 24/7. Games are scheduled every other Sunday at 5 PM Eastern Time (9 PM GMT if daylight savings, 10 PM GMT otherwise). Join the Discord to get reminders for when games happen!
