Krafter's Realm

A peaceful and fun Minecraft SMP with a tight-knit community! We love to build cities, gather resources, create governments, goof around, and enjoy a somewhat peaceful world together as friends.

History

Started as a simple SMP server in 2022, we have now grown into a roleplaying server with city-states, public transit, and legislation. If you enjoy roleplaying with friends, you'll like it here. Be aware that some of our nations have strict government processes and legislative rules, and governments often make formal actions and communications. We think this is fun, we hope you do too!

Gameplay

We are a peaceful server, without spontaneous PvP, greifing, stealing, etc. (often any PvP that does happen is due to governments formally declaring war on one another). While we do have claims for peace-of-mind, we also use common sense when making sure we're not building too close to other people's establishments, and altering other people's unclaimed builds is also a no-go.

As a semi-vanilla server, we have some quality-of-life plugins for claims, custom music discs, images on maps, a world map, and simple voice chat. We also have other miscellaneous plugins, like to let you sit/lie down/spin/sit on people's heads, for your items to be put in a temporary (24 hr) chest when you die, or for shopkeepers for easy interactive shops.

We do not have factions plugins. We think nations are a lot more interesting when you have to do the structuring yourself.

We are currently on Season 4, which started in July of 2024.

Applying

Krafter's Realm is open via application only, applications are handled via Discord's application system. Join our Discord, linked on this page, to apply. This is done to ensure you are a good fit for our server's community and the way we play minecraft. If your application is denied, feel free to reapply if you are still interested and have looked over this description again.

Applications also allow us to control the size of the server, so we don't overwhelm our staff, infrastructure, or community environment.

Mods & Compatibility

While a modpack is listed on this listing, that includes optimization mods and Simple Voice Chat, you can also join with your own mod pack or vanilla if you prefer (though Simple Voice Chat is reccommended). All versions from 1.9 to 26.1.x are supported via ViaBackwards and ViaVersion.
