The Final Feast
Version 0.4.0 is a complete rebuild of Stardew Valley Food.
The project has been recreated from the ground up with cleaner code, consistent content across mod loaders, and a much clearer purpose: this is now a food-only mod.
Rebuilt
- Recreated the entire project for modern Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge
- Rewritten item registration and project structure
- Preserved all 81 food items and their existing IDs
- Synchronized food properties, textures, models, translations, and recipes across every supported loader
- Added a dedicated creative tab containing the complete menu
Removed
Everything unrelated to the food collection has been removed, including:
- Food Vendor and trading features
- Culinary Merchant villager profession
- Custom villager and zombie villager textures
- Blocks and block-related content
- Status effects
- Advancements
- Legacy entities and supporting assets
- Old recipes and outdated tags
- Unused translations and resources
Existing worlds may lose content from these removed systems. The 81 food item IDs remain unchanged.
New Recipes
- Rebuilt all 81 recipes from scratch
- Added sensible ingredients and serving sizes
- Used the Farmer's Delight Cooking Pot for suitable meals
- Used vanilla crafting or smoking where those methods fit better
- Increased recipe output for dishes that consume several ingredients
- Added shared ingredient tags to make recipes easier to maintain and expand

Recipes can use compatible crops from supported mods through flexible ingredient tags. Dependency version requirements have also been relaxed to avoid rejecting compatible releases unnecessarily.

All food names and tooltips are synchronized in:
- English
- Thai
- Japanese
- Russian
- Simplified Chinese
Translations unrelated to food or the creative tab have been removed.

- Added complete item tooltips
- Synchronized nutrition and saturation values across all loaders
- Added clearer mod and JAR metadata

- Added automated checks for items, recipes, tags, models, textures, translations, and creative tab content
Final Update Notice
Version 0.4.0 is the final planned major update. The mod will remain available, but continued maintenance and new content are not guaranteed.
