Major Updates

Recipe System Adjustments

This update reorganizes the recipe logic for the Pot and Stockpot.

• Added a new flexible recipe system.
• Strict recipes are retained and will be matched first.
• If the ingredients in the pot cannot match a strict recipe, it will attempt to match a flexible recipe.
• If neither recipe type matches, it will produce Suspicious Stir-fry or Suspicious Stew.

Strict recipes emphasize ingredient proportions and usually provide better food effects. Flexible recipes are more lenient; as long as the ingredient types match, the corresponding dish can be cooked.

Food Quality

Flexible recipes will now gain different qualities based on the recipe type and the amount of ingredients added.

• Flexible recipe dishes will improve in effect based on the number of ingredients added.
• Food with quality will affect hunger, saturation, and effect duration.
• Placeable food will retain quality information after being placed and broken.

Plated Food

Added a new plated food mechanic.

• Some single foods can now be crafted into a plate of food.
• Plated food cannot be eaten directly but can be placed in the world.
• Right-clicking plated food will take out or pop out a portion of the food.
• After the last portion is taken out, an empty bowl or plate will be returned.

This update added or improved various plated foods, including Baozi, Shengjian Mantou, Qingtuan, Zongzi, Sticky Rice Cake, and various fruit platters.

Traditional Food

Added a variety of foods with festive or regional characteristics.

• Qingtuan
• Sticky Candy
• Raw Zongzi and Zongzi
• Raw Bamboo Tube Rice and Bamboo Tube Rice
• Hot Dry Noodles
• Laba Congee
• Sticky Rice Cake

The descriptions of these foods have also been adjusted to be more like brief item descriptions, while retaining some traditional cultural background.

Fruit Platters

Removed the previously generic Fruit Platter, replacing it with more specific platter types.

Content Adjustments

Millstone Recipe Adjustments

• Millstone now supports probabilistic by-product outputs (up to 4 products allowed).
• Now natively compatible with Create's Crushing Wheel recipes.

Food Adjustments

• Shengjian Mantou is now an item food instead of a block food.
• Dumpling can now be taken out of the pot empty-handed without needing a bowl.
• All noodle-type foods now uniformly provide the Vitality effect for 8:00.
• Adjusted the sorting of some foods in the Creative Mode inventory.

Text Adjustments

• Adjusted a large number of food descriptions.
• Descriptions are generally shorter, more akin to RPG-style item descriptions.
• Some descriptions place more emphasis on Chinese diet, traditional history, and cultural imagery.
• Cold Cut Ham Slices use a text style different from normal descriptions.

Content Streamlining

Removed a batch of content with unclear uses, high repetition, or conflicts with the new recipe system.

• Built-in the Legacy Resources Pack and cleaned up some redundant resources.
